Hollywood met Washington — and things got hilarious.
On his latest late-night show, Jimmy Kimmel turned a political feud into pure comedy when he invited Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D–Texas) to take the same cognitive test that Donald Trump once bragged about “acing.”

As laughter filled the studio, Kimmel teased, “Let’s see if you’re as smart as Trump says he is.”
The audience roared. Crockett, never one to shy away from a challenge, smiled and said: “Absolutely. Bring it on.”

The “test,” famously used to screen for early signs of dementia, includes tasks like identifying animals and recalling simple word lists. Trump had once called it “a very hard IQ test” — a claim that quickly became late-night legend.

Crockett played along with sharp wit and quick comebacks, nailing every question while throwing subtle jabs at Trump’s obsession with intelligence. When Kimmel asked her to remember the words “Person, Woman, Man, Camera, TV,” she quipped:

“Is that the order of his favorite Fox shows or the test answers?”

The crowd erupted.

Behind the humor, though, was real political heat.
Crockett has recently been one of Trump’s loudest critics after he referred to her as having “low IQ.” Instead of firing back with anger, she turned the insult into national TV gold — and a viral moment that redefined how political clapbacks can be done with grace and comedy.

At one point, Kimmel asked if she’d be willing to take a real IQ test against Trump. Without missing a beat, she laughed:

“Absolutely. Just make sure he brings his crayons.”

The internet went wild. Within hours, #JasmineCrockett trended across X (Twitter) and TikTok, with users praising her poise, humor, and ability to dismantle an insult without losing composure.

Political analysts say the moment cemented Crockett’s reputation as one of Congress’s boldest new voices — someone who can spar with Trumpism and entertain America in the same breath.

As Kimmel wrapped the segment, he grinned and said:

“I think we just proved who really passed the test tonight.”

And he wasn’t wrong.
