Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend Jim Curtis is sharing advice on finding love at any age.
On Wednesday, Oct. 29, the author and hypnotherapist shared a clip from an Instagram Q&A where he answered the question: “How to find love at 42?”
“That’s a great question, same as you do at 22 and 32 but with more confidence, more experience and more authenticity,” Curtis said. “You’re not old. First love yourself and recognize that you are the perfect age.”
He added, “And that life is not over at 42. When you are 62 and 72, you will look back at 42 and wish that you were that age.”
“So start now,” he continued. “Go out, open yourself to love. Make eye contact and smile. Connect with people, and most importantly, love yourself. When you love yourself, you will magnetize more love to you.”
Curtis, whose Instagram bio reads, “My mission is to help you heal and thrive by upgrading your I AM,” was first linked to Aniston in July after they were seen looking cozy on a yacht. Since then, the author has supported Aniston, 56, at The Morning Show season 4 premiere in September, and stepped out to dinner with the Friends alum for a double date with her friend Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka in August.
“[They are] casually dating and having fun,” a source previously told PEOPLE.
Curtis has worked in the health and wellness space for over two decades, according to his website.
He specializes in helping people “step into the fullest version of themselves” and posts informational videos on social media.
In August, a source told PEOPLE Curtis has helped Aniston to “slow down.”
The source added that the actress is “so used to going 100 miles an hour while balancing projects” amid her career, but Curtis has “helped her turn inwards and slow down a bit.”
They added that Curtis is “really appreciates and feels proud of everything she’s built.”
“She can be very hard on herself … He supports her in a way that feels new,” the insider said.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, Aniston told PEOPLE that she’s gotten very skilled at prioritizing time for herself instead of work.
“This is another thing that I’ve gotten really good at in the last couple of years, is carving out time,” she said. “Just saying to the team, ‘The month of blanky blank is off.’ We’re not going to do anything for whatever happens to be the month that would work that year.”
She tells her team, “I’m going to take off. I’m going to have a vacation. There’s going to be no work.’ And you just kind of have to put it on your calendar.”
