FRIENDS star Jennifer Aniston revealed her struggles with IVF, and how her current boyfriend Jim Curtis’ life is her lifeboat now.

In a recent insider report acquired by RadarOnline, it seems like actress Jennifer Aniston’s wish to become a mom is finally turning into a reality, although not in the traditional sense. Sources say that she’s currently amidst bettering the relationship between her current boyfriend, Jim Curtis, and his son from his previous relationship, saying:

Jen’s in this for the long haul with Jim. And she’s so nurturing, of course, she wants to extend that love to his son. That’s only natural for her.

Therefore, her goal now is to become a caring and loving stepmother to Curtis’ son, which is why the FRIENDS star is doing her level best to become a part of that family. This relationship is also healing her past wounds of not being able to become a mother, even through the IVF process that eventually failed her.

While she’s now preparing to step into the world of stepmotherhood with Curtis’ family, it’s not like Aniston never tried to become a mother the traditional way. In fact, she was heartbroken to learn how his ex-husband, Brad Pitt, and his now ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, were expecting their first child before their divorce was even settled.

And when the couple was together before their split, she did everything in her power to become a mother, but to no avail. In an interview with Allure in the past, she revealed how she was drinking Chinese teas and taking every precaution that she could to fulfill her dream of motherhood. But when she realised that it wasn’t in the cards, she made peace with it, saying:

I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed. I have zero regrets, I actually feel a little relief now because there is no more, ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.’ I don’t have to think about that anymore.

After that, although she was advised about adopting a child, she decided against it, revealing the reason for that in an episode of The Armchair Expert. In the podcast, she revealed that if she wanted a child, she wanted her own DNA, which she also revealed was selfish of her.

And now, with Curtis by her side, although not in the conventional sense, she seems to get closer to her goal of motherhood.

Later, Curtis took to his Instagram as well, where he posted a string of photos with Aniston, expressing his love for the companionship he receives from her. And finally, in November of this year, Aniston also took to her IG and made this relationship official, praising how Curtis manages to make her feel amazing and cared for.

Therefore, it seems like after two failed marriages, the actress has finally found everything she wanted with Jim Curtis.
