🚨 CASE UPDATE: NEW IMAGES REVEAL THE ROOM WHERE THE AUSTRALIAN MAN MU-RD-ERED THE THAI TEEN—AS A VIDEO RECORDED BY HER FRIEND EXP0SES CHI-LLING DETAILS…

Images of the cramped room where an Australian man was living and allegedly murdered a Thai teenager have been revealed.

The photographs show a hotel room which Simon Peter Carman, 45, was using near the Thai resort town of Pattaya, south of Bangkok.

Police allege Carman murdered Thanchanok Donhomla, 17, in the room last week, before stuffing her body in a suitcase and dumping it near railway tracks on Thursday.

The images show a small room with a bed, and piles of unfolded clothing in one corner.

There are piles of paper and bottles of water on a desk, while kitchen items and containers are seen on a bench near the doorway.

Clothes are scattered across the room, with a desk to one side being cluttered with papers and bottles of water. Supplied

There are also several empty bottles of what appear to be spirits on top of a fridge.

The brown door also has a pink bow below the peephole.

Other images show a woman in the room talking to Carman; the ABC reports the woman was a friend of Thanchanok and was searching for her after filing a missing person report with police.

Carmen was arrested at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport early on Saturday, before police found a suitcase, which they allege contained Thanchanok’s body, near railway tracks about a 10-minute drive from Carman’s condominium.

CCTV footage from 3.34am on Thursday shows a man and a female – allegedly Carman and Thanchanok – walking hand-in-hand in the lobby of the condo in Jomtien.

Some 18 hours later, police say CCTV showed Carman taking a black suitcase from his room and leaving the condo on a motorcycle with the suitcase on the back.

“From around 3.30am until about 9pm, when he disposed of the body, he appeared to go about his daily routine as usual. We watched every single clip. He went downstairs to buy food, bought some groceries, did his laundry – everything seemed completely normal,” Srathongyoo alleged, in comments to the Sydney Morning Herald on Monday

“Then we came to the part of the footage where he’s with the suitcase … but instead of leaving through the front entrance, he exited through the back door.”

At 1.15am on Saturday, Carman was arrested at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport. At 1.30am the same morning, police found the suitcase, which they allege contained Thanchanok’s body.

Carman has denied murdering Thanchanok, and Thai police have said he claimed she tried to rob him.

“I had my wallet open to get my money out, next thing I know there’s a knife in my face,” Carman claimed in a video recorded by police.

Police claimed Carman admitted to placing the girl’s body in the suitcase.

“I feel bad for what happened to your daughter. It was out of my control. I know you’ll be very sad, upset, same (as) me,” Carman said in a video message to the teen’s family.

Police investigate whether Carman involved in unsolved cases

Police are also reportedly investigating whether could be linked to two apparently similar unsolved cases.

One body was found in the Huay Yai district of Chon Buri province – where Pattaya is located – while the other was found in Ban Chang in the neighbouring province of Rayong.

Pattaya City Police Superintendent Colonel Anek Srathongyoo on Tuesday said there was no evidence linking Carmen to two other unsolved cases but they were investigating given the similarities.

Srathongyoo said the cases involved similar crime scenes with women’s bodies found in suitcases, but had been harder to solve because the women were dead longer before their bodies were found.

Foreign Minister Penny Wong on Tuesday confirmed the Department of Foreign Affairs was providing consular assistance to the man who is believed to have been born in Ballarat but was living in Perth before moving to Thailand.

The father and stepmother of Thanchanok Donhomla have called for whoever killed her to be executed. 9News

“It’s a horrific case, and I think we’ve all been horrified by what has happened, and our sympathy goes to the friends and family,” she said.

Thanchanok’s parents reportedly travelled from Kalasin province, about 500 kilometres north-east of Pattaya, to collect her body on Tuesday following an autopsy.

A murder conviction can carry the death penalty in Thailand and they’ve called for Carman to be executed, if found guilty.
