A track from Keith Urban‘s latest album High has resurfaced amid the country singer’s split from Nicole Kidman.

The song Love Is Hard, which was not written by Keith, 57, features lyrics about a relationship that is marred by silence, miscommunication, and unresolved fights.

With lyrics like, ‘Sleepin’ in the same room / But I don’t even hear from you’, and ‘Would you ever even notice If I didn’t come home this weekend?’, the song captures the emotional distance and miscommunication of a relationship in jeopardy.

The song also addresses conflict and unresolved tension.

Lines like ‘It hurts when we fight, babe / It’s worse when we say nothin’ and ‘Callin’ names and slammin’ doors / And keepin’ secrets, keepin’ scores’, show how unspoken resentment can create a cycle of emotional strain.

Despite these struggles, the song reflects a desire to maintain the relationship.

The lyrics were written by Eren Cannata, Justin Tranter, and Shane McAnally.

It comes amid reports Nicole, 58, feels ‘betrayed’ by Keith, 57, amid rumours he has already moved on with a younger woman in the music industry.

The couple ended their marriage on Tuesday as she filed for divorce – citing irreconcilable differences.

A source told People on Tuesday that the Oscar winner is ‘hurt’ as she didn’t want the marriage to end.

‘Nicole’s hurt and feels betrayed. It’s devastating to her. She’s shocked,’ they said.

The insider also claimed that Nicole ‘didn’t want this and has been fighting to save the marriage.’

Nicole and Keith have recently been kept apart due to their hectic filming and touring schedules, with an insider previously telling the Daily Mail that Nicole was left ‘blindsided’ by the split.

As Nicole filed to end the marriage on Tuesday, a source claimed to the Daily Mail that there is speculation Keith has already moved on with a younger woman in the music industry.

The well-placed Nashville music business PR source said: ‘The rumour is that he’s with a younger woman in the business. It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.’

Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban for comment and has yet to hear back.

The former couple share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

Nicole was previously married to Tom Cruise, 63, for 11 years from 1990 to 2001. They adopted two children together: Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30.

Those close to Nicole say that even the suggestion he may be seeing someone else has been difficult for her to process.

Nicole and Keith were last seen together publicly in June, when they were pictured attending a FIFA World Cup match in Nashville, Tennessee.
