Meghan Markle is giving fans a look at a sweet moment she shared with her husband, Prince Harry.

In a heartfelt Instagram Stories post shared on Friday, Oct. 10, the Duchess of Sussex shared footage of herself and Harry chatting backstage before the annual Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Gala at Spring Studios in New York City on Thursday.

The black and white video is set to Sylvie Vartan’s song “Baby, c’est vous,” and Meghan, 44, can be seen laughing at a joke made by the Duke of Sussex, 41.

“Happy World Mental Health Day,” she captioned the sweet moment, “…to the man who always keeps me laughing.”

The couple made a rare public appearance at Thursday’s event. As they posed for red carpet photos while holding hands, Meghan opted to wear a look by one of her go-to designers, Armani. She stepped out in a sleek black suit, a chunky gold chain necklace and a ponytail.

Harry, meanwhile, looked sharp in a classic black suit with a metallic tie.

On Friday, World Mental Health Day, the couple also stopped by the annual World Mental Health Day Festival itself, where their Archewell Foundation hosted three panels.

While Meghan sat in the front row, Harry took to the stage to introduce the first session, “Thriving or Surviving: How Are Young People Doing in the Digital Age?,” telling the crowd, “Today is more than just about conversation — it’s about community.”

“Young people learning to navigate a digital world that wasn’t designed with their wellbeing. This is what we’ve discovered,” he added during the event. “Maintaining good mental health isn’t just an individual challenge, it is a community responsibility. Approach this way, everybody wins. That’s what today is about.”

As PEOPLE exclusively revealed in September, Harry and Meghan received the Humanitarians of the Year Award on Thursday, Oct 9. The couple was honored by the nonprofit for their efforts to build a safer, more equitable online world for families and youth, in addition to their contributions to advance mental well-being worldwide.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are parents to son Prince Archie, 6, and daughter Princess Lilibet, 4, shared their perspective as parents while acknowledging the Humanitarians of the Year Award.

“Working with families and young people to prioritize safety online has been some of the most meaningful work of our lives. As parents ourselves, we have been moved to action by the power of their stories and are honored to support them,” Prince Harry and Meghan said in a statement.

The couple’s public appearance comes just days after Meghan made her debut at Paris Fashion Week, appearing at the Balenciaga Womenswear Spring/Summer 2026 show on Oct. 4.

While attending the Balenciaga Womenswear Spring/Summer 2026 show, the mother of two wore a white, oversized cape atop a white button-down shirt. She finished her look with black pointed-toe heels.

Meghan later celebrated her Paris Fashion Week activities with an Instagram post. “About last night,” she wrote in her caption. “Thank you @pppiccioli and @balenciaga. I’ve missed you 🇫🇷 – thanks for the love ❤️.”
