EXCLUSIVE: Bec was livid when she found out her friend Steph had been texting and sent a bikini photo to her ex husband Danny.

The MAFS Reunion Dinner Party ended with Bec’s explicit spray at both Steph and Danny, but speaking to nine.com.au Bec could see how Steph and Danny’s text exchange was “innocent”.

Bec’s version of events corroborates the story Steph shared with nine.com.au.

The brides were at the airport ahead of the Reunion when, after noticing they were following each other on socials, Bec asked Steph if she’d spoken to Danny.

Bec found Steph’s answer a little suspicious, but a day later when they were sitting in glam, Steph let Bec go through her phone and see the texts herself.

That’s when Bec really got angry.

“In the five days after Danny dumped me at final vows and I couldn’t get out of bed, [Steph] was ringing me like, ‘Babe, he’s an a—hole’, this, that,” Bec said.

“She was being a really supportive queen.”

Considering Steph and Danny had only interacted at one Dinner Party, Bec was “confused” as to why they were texting at all.

While Bec could see how the bikini photo of Steph on Hamilton Island and the voice notes “could be innocent”, to her that wasn’t the point – it was a matter of loyalty.

“You’re my friend, you’re trying to pick me up when I’m down! Why are you messaging him?” Bec said.

“A week after he dumped me, blindsided me, he’s kicking it with Steph? It feels icky and murky.

“Even if it was innocent, it’s wrong. Have some respect for me, both of you.”

Danny declined to be interviewed by nine.com.au for this story.
