Meghan Markle reached deep in her closet for an accessory with a royal connection at her latest outing.

On Oct. 14, the Duchess of Sussex, 44, spoke at Fortune‘s Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, D.C., and sported a pair of bespoke shoes with a link to her royal life.

Meghan wore a white Gabriela Hearst blouse and Brochu Walker Esme Skirt (reminiscent of her Suits style) with a strappy pair of Dior heels that Hello! magazine confirmed she had made for Prince Archie’s christening in 2019.

Meghan and Prince Harry welcomed their first child, son Prince Archie, now 6, in May 2019, and Archie was christened at Queen Elizabeth’s private chapel at Windsor Castle that July.

A royal source told PEOPLE at the time that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex chose the location because they “wanted an intimate, peaceful setting in a place with such a special connection to Her Majesty,” and they shook up tradition by doing things differently.

Prince Harry, 41, and Meghan chose to make Archie’s royal christening a private affair for about 25 close friends and family. In contrast, Prince William and Kate Middleton publicly announced the christenings for all three of their children and had media present for the events.

Prince Archie was christened during the period in which his parents were full-time working royals. In January 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their intention to “step back as senior members of the Royal Family” in a decision finalized one year later.

The couple relocated to California, where their daughter, Princess Lilibet, now 4, was born in June 2021.

Prince Harry and Meghan have since carved their own path in the U.S., establishing the charitable Archewell Foundation on a mission to “show up, do good” and each pursuing personal endeavors. The Duke of Sussex is focused on philanthropy, while the Duchess of Sussex unveiled her commercial As ever lifestyle brand this year.

Meghan appeared at Fortune‘s Most Powerful Women Summit solo on Tuesday following her N.Y.C. trip with Harry last week and spoke at the event about balancing her business with parenthood.

“I think you have to work as a team. You’re only as solid as the rest of the people around you,” Meghan told Fortune Editor-in-Chief Alyson Shontell about how she leads her As ever venture. “And also, I want the life-work balance, if such a thing exists. I’m still going to go and chaperone the first-grade field trip and run back and try to finish the meetings.”
