THE owner of a short-term rental property has been accused of secretly recording guests, having thousands of files of child sex abuse material, and owning a disgusting child-like sex doll.

Christian Parmalee Edwards, 44, was arrested after investigators stormed his property and allegedly found him watching a recently filmed clip.

Edwards owns a vacation rental property in Oakhurst, California, just 15 miles from Yosemite National Park, the Madera County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Investigators confronted him on March 19 after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children had flagged the distribution of illegal material in the county.

While searching the property, cops allegedly found the disturbing child sex material, vacation home recordings, and the doll.

The doll, which was used for sex, was described as “lifelike” and it’s hands were bound, a spokesperson for the department told Fox News.

Detectives also found new children’s clothing, the department said.

“This showcases the escalation in behaviors from viewing digital images to filming to physical behaviors,” the spokesperson said.

Neighbors have been left horrified by the arrest – and are making an urgent call to keep him behind bars.

“I really hope they don’t let him out,” Anthony Polfer, who lives down the street, told ABC affiliate KFSN.

“Right now, it’s safe, and we didn’t even know we were in danger.”

Another neighbor, Amy Gray, claimed Edwards approached her about renting the property before he was taken away in cuffs.

Polfer speculated, “I’m sure he did have plans for my friends and her kids.”

The department shared a picture of the massive property to “alert possible victims who may have rented the home,” it said in a statement.

Anyone who could have more information about Edwards has been urged to contact the sheriff’s department.

He’s facing multiple felony charges related to the possession of the distribution of child sexual abuse material and is expected to be slapped with additional invasion of privacy charges.

His bail was $225,000 – but it was reduced to $75,000 at an initial court appearance, the sheriff’s department said.

“Protecting the innocent, upholding the law, and holding offenders accountable remains a top priority of the Madera County Sheriff’s Office,” Sheriff Tyson Pogue said in a statement.
