Rumours have been swirling that romantic sparks might be flying between Bec and Joel, who have been spotted spending a lot of time together.

Their cosy catch-ups have left fans wondering if they have become more than friends, and Bec fanned the flames when she shared an Instagram post saying she “missed” Joel, who was in Singapore with his mother.

However, Bec has finally addressed her and Joel’s relationship on a TikTok live with former MAFS bride Awhina Rutene.

“Everyone thinks Joel and I are dating because we are just, like, best mates, and we’re having lunches together and getting photographed,” Bec said.

“But no, we’re not dating… he wishes […] Nah, I’m just kidding.”

This hasn’t stopped fans from shipping their relationship, as many have urged them to get together, insisting they’d make a good match.

Responding to the rumours, one fan wrote on social media, “I actually thought the other day that they’d make a good couple.”

“They would have been a better match,” another argued.

However, others have been left shocked by the rumours, after Bec and Joel infamously had a Dinner Party blow-up.

Some fans have shared their surprise over their friendship and argued that they would “never” get together after their row, in which Bec said Joel “repulses” her, while the groom accused her of needing “attention”.

But, if their recent outings are anything to go by, it’s all water under the bridge for the pair.

Are Bec and Danny still together?

While Bec and Danny are currently still together on MAFS, they are going through a very rocky patch.

After a tearful Commitment Ceremony, Danny was told by the experts to show Bec how he feels, as she was left doubting his intentions.

They then hit another hurdle after Danny was left unimpressed by Bec’s renewed friendship with her former rival, Gia.

According to our on-set spy, nobody was remotely surprised by the couple continuing to be engulfed by drama.

“Bec has always been way more into Danny than he is into her,” our source dished.

“She fell for him hard and fast, but he has never truly seemed to reciprocate those feelings.”

While the pair may still be “married” on TV, it is unclear how long they will last in the real world, if at all.

MAFS filming wrapped more than four months ago, and speculation has been rife that they have already gone their separate ways.
