A teenage boy is fighting for life after being hit by a car in Melbourne’s southeast.
Police were called to Pound Road at Narre Warren South about 4.30pm on Friday, after the 16-year-old boy was struck.
The boy was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A female driver of the car was also assessed at the scene after she crashed into a tree, police said.

“The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and an investigation is ongoing,” Victoria Police said.
Delays are expected in both directions on Pound Road near Lake View Drive following the collision, Vic Traffic said.
