Declan Donnelly has invested in this third home after Ant McPartlin and he recently secured a £30million contract with ITV for another three years. In order to celebrate this astounding paycheck, Dec has decided to splash the cash on his third home.

The I’m a Celeb host currently owns two houses in west London which sit side by side. The first is a £7million mansion where he lives, and the second he purchased three years ago right next door for £2.25million.

While it is not known how much the 50-year-old has paid for the third house, which is conveniently located beside the second house, current houses on the street are reportedly being sold for £2.5million. It is said that Dec has also submitted planning applications to develop his latest property.

Before his divorce from his first wife Lisa in 2018, Ant also used to live on the same street as his Byker Grove co-star, just a few doors down. However, he has since moved to south west London with his new wife Anne-Marie in a £6million house, reports the Mirror. The couple are now said to be looking for a new place.

The details of Dec’s astounding purchase emerged after his wife Ali submitted plans to the local council to install a new gate and add a side extension. And it seems that Dec’s neighbours are delighted with the TV star’s purchase as they described the property as an eyesore.

While it is not known what Dec plans to do with the house or if he plans to sell it on, it reportedly needs some work done to it. At the moment, the property is said to be made up of two flats.

This isn’t the first time that Dec has developed a property, as his first home is now three times what it was worth when he bought it in 2006 for £1.9million.

Over the years he has added a swimming pool, steam room, poolside kitchen and a cinema to the seven-bedroom property.

This new purchase comes after the duo negotiated a new three-year deal with ITV. Worth £5million a year for each of them, this deal will take Ant and Dec through to the end of 2028, which marks 30 years after they hosted kids’ show SM:TV.

The Geordie duo have had a series of hit shows on ITV, including Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win, Britain’s Got Talent, I’m A Celebrity South Africa, which returns three years after its first run, and I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.

ITV has revealed that the Jungle’s first episode brought in a whopping 11.2million viewers. Dec added last week: “We’re so lucky to work on some of the biggest and best TV shows and we’re proud of what we have achieved together with ITV over the years.

“We’re excited for the future and looking forward to making more great entertainment together.”

Kevin Lygo, managing director for media and entertainment at ITV, said he was delighted to have Ant and Dec for three more years.

He said: “Ant & Dec’s impact upon the world of live entertainment is unrivalled, with their triumphant partnership reigning supreme for over three decades.

“This new three-year working relationship marks an exciting new chapter with ITV, which I have no doubt will be full of yet more unmissable entertainment.”
