Declan had been reported missing after the river crash on 17 March
Police have confirmed that a body recovered from a roadside river in the Fens is that of the missing 18-year-old, Declan Berry.
Specialist teams have been searching the River Nene near Wisbech St Mary, in Cambridgeshire, after the blue VW Polo carrying five teenagers entered the water at North Brink at about 20:20 GMT on 17 March.
Cambridgeshire Police said officers were called to Crab Marsh, Wisbech, just before 12:00 BST on Tuesday, by a local river official.
Det Insp Craig Wheeler said: “Declan’s family have been notified, and I would ask that their privacy is respected during this horrendous time for them.”
“Our investigation into this absolutely tragic collision continues and I would urge anyone with any information about the collision to contact me.”
The force renewed its appeal for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
Divers recovered the body of 16-year-old Eden Bunn, believed to have been a rear seat passenger, at about 15:00 on 18 March.
Three other teenagers, who were also travelling in the vehicle, managed to reach safety and were treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
