Former Love Island star Olivia Bowen, 31, has given birth to her second child with husband Alex Bowen — a baby girl named Siena Grace — and the couple couldn’t be happier as they shared the first tender photos of their new family of four.

Already parents to three-year-old son Abel, Olivia and Alex described themselves as “bursting with love” after welcoming their daughter. The emotional announcement came with sweet snapshots of Olivia cradling Siena while Alex looked on proudly — and little Abel lovingly hugging his baby sister.

“I can’t even find the words other than to say our beautiful girl Siena Grace is here, and we are all bursting with love,” Olivia wrote on Instagram. “It wasn’t an easy ride but every second was worth it a thousand times over. I love my babies.”

The proud mum also revealed a close-up of personalised knitwear embroidered with Siena’s name, surrounded by flowers — a touching detail that fans were quick to adore.

A Love Island romance that stood the test of time

Olivia and Alex met on season two of ITV’s hit dating show Love Island in 2016, finishing as runners-up but emerging as one of the series’ most successful couples. They got engaged later that year in New York before tying the knot at an idyllic Essex ceremony in September 2018.

Since leaving the villa, the pair have built a life far from reality TV drama — launching a property portfolio, starring in their own TLC show Olivia and Alex Said Yes, and welcoming son Abel in June 2022.

Love Island alumni including Francesca Allen, Kendall Rae Knight and Samie Elishi sent heartfelt congratulations on Olivia’s announcement. Too Hot to Handle’s Emily Miller added: “Congratulations you guys,” while Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry chimed in with: “So happy for you both!”

A pregnancy shared with fans

Olivia first revealed she was expecting baby number two in February with an intimate home video filmed on a camcorder. The clip captured the couple discovering they were pregnant, moments of Abel kissing his mum’s growing bump, and a playful shirt announcing his new role as “big brother.”

The family’s joy comes after Olivia’s candid admission that she struggled with body image and postnatal depression following Abel’s birth. Speaking on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast last year, Olivia confessed that she battled anxiety, self-doubt, and physical injury after pushing herself to “bounce back” too quickly.

“After I had Abel, I really, really struggled with my body image… I hated myself beyond belief. Pregnant — I loved it, but afterwards I compared myself to everyone else and I pushed myself far too soon. I ended up injuring myself badly,” Olivia shared.

She also revealed feelings of detachment, saying she didn’t initially like being called “mum,” adding: “I felt like I’d lost my identity and I had no clue who I was.”

Despite the difficult journey, Olivia and Alex say their growing family has been worth every challenge.

From reality TV to real estate and family life

Love Island's Olivia and Alex Bowen discuss parenting and having more kids

Aware of how quickly reality TV fame fades, Olivia began pursuing a career in interior design while building a thriving property investment portfolio with Alex.

The couple purchased their first home in Chelmsford, Essex, for £800,000 in 2017, before upgrading to Olivia’s dream home in 2020 for over £1 million. They have since expanded with multiple buy-to-let properties and recently unveiled their lavish new Essex home, complete with a themed “ocean room” for Abel and a subtle nod to the Mallorca villa where they first met.

Now, with baby Siena Grace completing their family, Olivia and Alex Bowen are stepping into an exciting new chapter — proving that their Love Island romance wasn’t just for television, but a lasting love story in real life.
