Speaking with NOLA.com, the LSU student admitted that fame still feels surreal, especially after being recognized at Disneyland. “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever be recognized in Disneyland,” he said, marveling at how far the Idol experience has taken him. “Sure, I can see somebody recognizing me in, like, Louisiana or Texas or something, but Disneyland in California was not somewhere that I ever thought I’d be recognized in. And sure enough, many people recognized me, which was crazy.”
