Diddy Details Foolish Plans for Avoiding Prison Time and You’ll Never Guess What It Is

Spending more time behind bars is a reality the Bad Boy mogul keeps trying to avoid, but this latest attempt might be going too far!

Sean “Diddy” Combs isn’t giving up on his quest to shirk prison time. But his latest idea might be the most eye-rolling one yet.

As you well know by now, Diddy is awaiting his official sentencing after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. Each count holds a maximum of 10 years behind bars, but that’s a reality the Bad Boy mogul has been trying keep from experiencing as he’s been trying to get out on bail for awhile now. His most recent attempt was just denied by a judge in July, but now he’s trying yet again to paint himself in a positive light and prove his case.

According to a new interview given by one of his defense lawyers, Alexandra Shapiro, she alleges that part of Diddy’s redemption arc will be for him to become–wait for it–an anti-domestic violence advocate and work with programs aimed at addressing the horrific issue.

Shapiro said that this turn in direction is a part of his plans for the near future and that by doing so he can “help in whatever ways he can to kind of encourage other people not to do this and really to help in positive ways in the future,” per Business Insider.

She later added: “The idea is that he would work with programs and be able to go in and talk to people, talk to youth, talk to others about the issue in a proactive way and be an advocate for this. And sometimes, people like him can be the best spokesperson to try to help.”

Shapiro also said that these plans would be included in arguments in new court filing related to her client’s upcoming sentencing.

Now look, we can’t speak for Diddy’s intentions but this “get outta jail” card he’s trying to pull is just a bit ridiculous. It’s one thing to go to therapy to address the issues you have that may have led him to enact violence on partner, but it’s a whole other things to say he’s going to publicly become an advocate anti-domestic violence. And it’s especially suspicious when this comes right after he claimed he had plans to go back to Madison Square Garden for a grand comeback event of sorts.

I don’t know if he’s aware, but there’s still a possibility that the “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper still might have to do some time behind bars, despite him and his legal team seeking time served sentence.

All these grand plans to try to make whatever’s about to come down the pipeline be less severe than he wants are just getting more wild as the days go by. October really can’t get here fast enough, this saga has gone on for far too long.
