ATMORE, Ala. (WKRG) — The 23rd winner of TV’s “American Idol” is planning a concert in Atmore.
Jamal Roberts was named the competition’s latest winner on May 18, 2025, beating runner-up John Foster.

Roberts will hold a free concert at Boxcar Willie on Saturday, June 14, during the 2025 Bee More Summer Festival.
‘AMERICAN IDOL’ JAMAL ROBERTS’ CONCERT LOCATION:
The event will begin at 12 p.m., offering event goers shopping, food, painting, kids’ activities as well as live entertainment.
Live performances will begin at 2 p.m., with Roberts expected to take the stage at 4 p.m.
