Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi shares a 10-year-old son with his ex, Dara Huang
Dara Huang’s mother has made her feelings clear on a potential split between Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Princess Beatrice.
Lily Huang, who is originally from Taiwan and now lives in Florida, has spoken out on the rumours about the Princess of York’s six-year marriage.
Her daughter, Dara, dated Mr Mapelli Mozzi between 2015 and 2018, and they welcomed a son named Christopher Woolf (Wolfie) in 2016.
Mr Mapelli Mozzi later tied the knot with Princess Beatrice on July, 17, 2020 in Windsor, and they share two daughters, Sienna, four, and Athena, one.
Amid the backdrop of the Jeffrey Epstein files and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s fall from grace, attention has shifted to his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
Friends of Mr Mapelli Mozzi and Beatrice claimed to The Mail on Sunday that there has been a “noticeable distance” between the royal couple since the York family has been wrapped in scandal.
However, another insider told Hello! that these reports were untrue, claiming: “The only thing Bea and Edo are navigating are their busy jobs and looking after their children!
“They’ve both had recent stints working abroad and, like so many working parents, have balancing work with looking after the kids.”

Lily made her feelings clear on the conflicting reports, admitting it would be “a shame” if Beatrice and Mr Mapelli Mozzi were to separate.
Elsewhere, Lily said that she and her husband, Po-Tien, “never see Edo”.
Lily added: “Why should we see him or speak with him?”
However, Wolfie’s grandmother clarified that she does occasionally see Princess Beatrice on the news.

She explained: “We are both very old, and my husband is sick. I never ask Wolfie about his stepmother, but I see her on the television.”
Mr Mapelli Mozzi has been travelling extensively for business in recent weeks, with trips taking him to Palm Beach and Fisher Island near Miami.
During these overseas work commitments, Beatrice is understood to have stayed in the capital caring for their two young daughters, three-year-old Sienna and one-year-old Athena.
The couple appeared to present a united front last week when they were spotted enjoying an evening out together in Notting Hill.

Beatrice and Mr Mapelli Mozzi dined at Eeel Sushi Bar, where they reportedly remained for approximately two hours before departing in a Porsche.
The Princess of York has maintained a notably low profile since her father’s arrest in February.
She was last seen publicly in late January when she went riding in Windsor with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and her daughter, Sienna, shortly before he was removed from Royal Lodge.
The fallout has also affected her sister Princess Eugenie, with widespread reports indicating neither sibling will participate in the carriage procession or join relatives in the royal box at Ascot this June.
