Perhaps the last two people we expected to be sucked into Bec and Gia’s MAFS feud are former brides Domenica Calarco and Jamie Marinos.
The MAFS alumni sat on the After The Dinner Party couch with Jules Lund to explain how they got roped into this season’s drama, years after their own time on the show.

Both Dom and Jamie found themselves in rivalries in their respective season – Dom with her co-star Olivia Frazer and Jamie with Lauren Hall.
The former brides thought maybe it was these experiences that made Bec and Gia comfortable enough to pick up the phone.
“Gia called me and pretty much said verbatim ‘I’ve got an Olivia on my hands’,” Dom said.
Dom was “offended” by Gia’s call saying, “No, you don’t have an Olivia on your hands. You have no idea what I went through.
“But also if she is referring to Bec, they’re just as bad as each other.”

Jamie also revealed that Bec “reached out to her during filming” although she was careful to keep her “at arm’s length”.
“It’s a risky game, anyone can give a sob story. Bec was very much saying that she was the victim,” Jamie explained.
Jules Lund asked the question on everyone’s mind: “Why are they reaching out to pass participants. What is their M.O?”
Jamie thought the answer was obvious.
“They want someone with a platform defending them publicly,” she said.

Dom and Jamie struggled to make sense of Bec and Gia’s frenemy relationship.
“Do they love each other? Do they hate each other? They can’t make up their minds,” Dom said.
Jamie saw things a little clearer: “They’re very much the same person but they present very differently.
“We’re seeing two quite insecure women. They’re both wanting to present the perfect relationships. It’s just the same thing.”

There were no signs of Bec and Gia’s feud coming to an end with unseen footage revealing the lengths Bec went to behind the scenes to calculate Gia’s downfall.
“Gia. She thought I was her friend. I purposely went out yesterday with her,” Bec told a producer.
“She’s as fake as her f–king nose and t–s and her arse mate. F–k off.”
“Now, nobody in that room is going to believe anything she says but I got you.
“I’m actually so proud of myself … “
