Controversial Married At First Sight groom Dean Wells has been slammed over a bizarre joke about ‘grandma porn.’

The reality star has dabbled in stand-up comedy since appearing on the hit Channel Nine series back in 2018.

However, it appears that he may have to work on his comedy stylings after being ruthlessly heckled online.

Instagram account The Para Social Club recently shared an audio clip of Dean attempting to tickle funny bones with his jokes.

However, the clip, which featured Dean launching into a bizarre routine about ‘grandma porn’, is probably not destined for Dean’s highlight reel.

‘I’ve got a mate that’s into grandma porn,’ Dean declared in the clip.

‘I know everyone does that thing: “Oh, I’m asking for a friend”, or: “It’s not actually me who’s into grandma porn, it’s my mate”, that’s not what’s happening here.’

With no punchline in sight, Dean continued with his strange routine.

‘Everyone says the same thing about porn, don’t they? They say: “Oh look at that poor girl up there on the screen, that’s somebody’s daughter”, or: “That’s somebody’s sister”,’ he added.

‘Imagine if that was your nan.’

Ploughing on with his routine, Dean then changed tack, arguing that grandmothers should not be stigmatised for doing porn.

‘No seriously, I think it’s great that Nans can go and do porn. Why wouldn’t they? They should be able to go and f*** whoever they want,’ he said.

‘Women in general now. We’ve taken away the stigma from women having multiple sex partners.

‘Why was there ever a stigma around that anyway? Why shouldn’t a woman be able to f*** whoever she wants, whenever she wants and be a f***ing boss b**ch about it.’

His routine then railed against s*** shaming and body positivity, before Dean rounded out the bit with a very off-colour sting.

‘Let’s have a round of applause for all the fat s***s out there,’ he said. ‘Love the fat s***s.’

Dean’s bizarre routine certainly fell flat, with people flooding the comments to heckle the reality star.

‘This really could’ve stayed an inside thought,’ one offered, while a second chimed in with: ’70 laugh-free seconds later.’

Another cheekily suggested that they were still waiting for the comedy to begin.

‘So when are you gonna post the stand up comedy bit?’ they asked.

One confused commenter refused to admit that the clip was real.

‘This can’t be real, I refuse to accept anyone would remotely think this is “comedy”,’ they wrote.

It didn’t end there, either, with one  person slamming the routine as ‘vile’.

‘Vile and deeply unfunny,’ they wrote.

‘Is no one in his social circles giving him a sense check, or are they all as embarrassing as he is?’

Dean shot to fame on Married At First Sight’s fifth season after cheating on his ‘wife’ Tracey Jewel with Davina Rankin.

He has since made headlines for his controversial and outspoken views.

Back in 2023, Dean was dropped by his management company, Stage Addiction, after posting a doctored photo criticising a drag queen story time event.
