One shocking split came during the vows, when one person called out her partner for “lying” and lacking “integrity”

In the season 10 reunion, which premieres Wednesday, March 11 at 9 p.m. ET on Netflix, the participants will offer an update on where they stand today

Not every couple got their happy ending in the season 10 finale of Love is Blind.

The bombshell episode dropped on Wednesday, March 4, on Netflix, revealing which couples made it to the altar — and who said “I do.” One of the most shocking moments came when it was time for Ashley and Alex’s wedding, where the 34-year-old claims manager shared her unfiltered thoughts about the relationship in an explosive speech.

“Alex, we’re going to begin with you,” the pastor began, asking if he took Ashley to be his lawfully wedded wife. Before he could answer, Ashley interrupted: “I know your answer, and it doesn’t matter to me. I know you don’t choose me, and I’m not choosing you either.”

“When we were in the pods, all of our stories, all of our future plans, they aligned perfectly,” she continued. “However, once we left the pods, there was no effort, there was no intimacy, there were no questions that you had for me, and I felt like as soon as we moved into the apartment, we were roommates. Something always kind of felt off. Your stories were so vivid, they were so detailed. You would say a lot of words, but somehow I just found myself more confused at the end of our conversations.”

She then declared, “Lying is non-negotiable for me, and I’m sure it is for you as well. I lead my life with integrity, which is one of the reasons you told me that you fell in love with me, and I expect my husband to do the same thing. Unfortunately, I do feel like you have missed that mark.”

As Alex, who later speculated that Ashley’s behavior was “a power move” against him, nodded, Ashley went on to explain that she “used to ignore red flags,” and she wasn’t going to make the same mistake again.

“I accepted this honesty, and I spent far too much time waiting for a man to love me that was not my person,” she said. “I think this process has really made us grow, and I’m very proud of the woman I am today, and I hope you’re proud of the man that you are through all of this.”

“If I was standing here a year ago, I would have ignored all of the red flags, all of the lies. I would have probably thought, ‘I can change him,’ or, ‘Just give it some more time,’ and I would have spent far too much time waiting for you to become the man that I deserve,” Ashley concluded. “I know I deserve something extraordinary. I deserve so much better. So I am so sorry, but it is a no for me today.”

Before she walked off, Alex responded to her claims while their friends and family watched.

“I would like to say I completely respect that from you,” he told Ashley. “I do disagree to an extent about the integrity. I felt as though the questions about my past were more to try and catch me in something than to really understand me. I do live a very different lifestyle. I do my best to explain it as much as possible. I personally don’t think that I’ve missed the mark on integrity, but I do understand the rest of your feelings. I respect your feelings, without a doubt. From my end, it’s mutual.”

Later, Alex’s mom slammed Ashley’s statements about her son, telling him, “I’m not happy with her calling you a liar because you’re not.” Alex, however, shrugged it off, although he noted that he “didn’t expect integrity to be called into question.” When a friend asked if he wanted to check to see if Ashley was okay, he quipped, “No!”

“I’m sure he’s a little annoyed that I called out his integrity in front of all of his friends and his mom, but I don’t care,” Ashley revealed to the cameras, going on to say that Alex “didn’t love me — he didn’t even like me.”

Another couple also called things off at the altar. After Emma said “I do” to Mike, he conceded that he couldn’t go through with the marriage knowing she was unsure about having children.

“I want to get married to you,” she told him after the ceremony. “I know we have a lot to work through, but I see glimpses of a future. I see glimpses of a family. I know you’re going to be an amazing father. I wouldn’t be here today if I didn’t start seeing that.”

While Mike understood, he explained, “If we’re getting married, I want you to know that you want a family with me for sure … I don’t want it to be 50-50 … I want it to be 100%, and I wanna be with someone that’s 100%.”

Meanwhile, Brittany and Devonta never made it to the altar after he confessed that he wasn’t ready for the commitment.

“Everything is great between us, but I was just like, I can’t walk into a marriage with self-doubt of, ‘Can I love you how you need to be loved?’ ” he said.

Brittany, on the other hand, said that she would have said “yes” at their wedding and hopes to continue deepening their relationship in the future.

“Even though it’s not right now, it doesn’t mean that it’s not going to be eventually. I feel like we’re still together, and we’re just taking a slight pause on when we actually get married,” she said, later adding, “I’m 99% sure I’m going to get married to Devonta … I feel like he is my person.”

Devonta wasn’t as sure, admitting in a confessional that “there were certain things that struck” him about Brittany, including when he learned that she bought a wedding dress before joining the show.

“I was like, ‘Were you gonna get married, regardless if it was me?’ ” he wondered. “Is she my forever person? The more I’m clinged onto or the more I’m pressured to do something, the harder that I push back. She is sometimes like a shadow to me, and I’m just like, ‘Just wait out there. I’ll be right back. I’m just going to change my shirt.’ That’s something I don’t want to keep dragging down the road if it’s not gonna work out.”

Ultimately, two couples tied the knot: Vic and Christine and Amber and Jordan.

“You’re my person,” Amber told her husband, calling the wedding “one of the best moments of my life.” Jordan replied, “You’re mine too.”

After their ceremony, Vic also expressed his excitement to be married. “Best day of my life times 10,” he said. “Never felt love like this.”
