Perth, December 25, 2025 – Western Australia Police have issued a fresh appeal for information on the disappearance of 13-year-old Macey Palframan, who was last seen on Salvado Road in Wembley more than a week ago. In an emotional statement, the teenager’s family begged: “Please come home… We miss you so much and just want you safe.”

Macey, described as fair-skinned, approximately 160cm tall, with long brown hair and a slim build, vanished without trace on the evening of December 16. She was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and white sneakers when last spotted walking along the busy suburban street near her home. Detectives say there have been no confirmed sightings since, and concerns for her welfare are growing with each passing day.

“Macey is a vulnerable young girl, and we are extremely worried,” said Detective Sergeant Emma Clarke from WA Police Missing Persons Unit. “She has no known history of running away, and it’s completely out of character. We’re urging anyone who may have seen her or knows where she is to come forward immediately.”

The family, speaking through police, released a direct message to Macey: “Please come home, darling. We’re not angry – we love you and are desperate to know you’re okay. If you’re scared or need help, just call us or the police. Christmas won’t be the same without you.”

Searches have been ongoing in the Wembley and Subiaco areas, including parks, public transport routes, and local hangouts frequented by teenagers. Police have reviewed CCTV footage from nearby businesses and bus stops on Salvado Road, but no breakthroughs yet. Officers are also checking Macey’s social media activity and phone records for clues.

Friends at her school have described Macey as “quiet but kind,” with no reported issues at home or bullying. However, investigators are exploring all possibilities, including whether she may have met someone online or left voluntarily due to typical teenage pressures.

Community response has been overwhelming, with hundreds sharing police appeals on social media under hashtags like #FindMacey and #ComeHomeMacey. Local residents have organised volunteer search parties, combing bushland and drains in the vicinity.

WA Police urge anyone with information – no matter how small – to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000 or report online. “Even dashcam footage from Salvado Road that evening could be vital,” added DS Clarke.

As families gather for Christmas, the Palframan household faces an agonising wait. This festive season serves as a stark reminder of how quickly life can change, leaving a community united in hope for Macey’s safe return.

Anyone spotting Macey should call 000 immediately. Police emphasise: “If you’re reading this, Macey – please reach out. You’re not in trouble. Just come home.”
