The Married At First Sight bride declared ‘I love you’ to Danny as the pair made their decision on whether to stay, or leave the experiment.

Danny was left visibly reeling, thanking Bec for her admission – but stopping short of returning the sentiment.

And fans tuning in at home were left amused by the confession, with many sharing their thoughts on X, as well as sharing hilarious memes mocking the cringe-inducing moment.

‘I was thrown a little bit but with Bec you never know what to expect. I don’t even think she knows what to expect.’

Danny added that he would have preferred if Bec told him how she felt behind closed doors.

He also admitted that he may not feel the same way about his bride.

Danny confessed that he, ‘definitely would never say “I love you” to someone I didn’t love’.

Bec, meanwhile, admitted that she acted on impulse.

‘At that time, I didn’t expect him to say it back to me, at all,’ Bec told Nine.

‘I had zero expectation of that. But that’s how I felt, and I was always going to say it. I’m not going to deny saying things.’
