A FATHER’S FINAL MOMENTS ENDED IN HORROR..! SHOCKING NEW ALLEGATIONS CLAIM A SON SET HIS FATHER ON FIRE BEFORE HE WAS FOUND D-E:AD OUTSIDE HIS HOME WITH SEVERE BURNS.
A man has been arrested after allegedly setting his father on fire, whose body was found on the driveway of a western Sydney home.
Emergency services were called to Wargon Crescent in Glenmore Park shortly before 1am on Thursday following reports of a fire.
The body of a man in his 60s, suffering from multiple ‘distressing’ injuries including significant burns, was located outside his partially alight home.
Following inquiries, detectives arrested a man, 36, five hours later when he was found inside a car in nearby Werrington.
Police sources told the ABC that he was the son of the alleged victim but did not live at the Glenmore Park home.
‘There appears to have been an altercation between the two parties there, following a break and enter into the premises – the front door was forced,’ St Marys Superintendent Trent King said.
‘An accelerant appears to have been used … however there’s no further information at this stage around what actually occurred within the premises.
‘It was a really distressing scene for our first responders, and not a normal scene for anybody to be confronted with; particularly the extent of the injuries to our victim.’

The body of a man in his 60s suffering from multiple injuries, including significant burns, was located outside home.
He confirmed that the 36-year-old arrested has a criminal history and was ‘well-known’ to police, adding that he and the older man were related.
‘Our understanding is that our victim is a resident of that location, the other man is not,’ Supt King said.
‘There is no history of domestic violence between the two parties.’
A post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
Fire and Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blaze, which started in a blue Commodore in the driveway before spreading to part of the house.
It is understood there was no structural damage to the home.
Police and forensic officers remained at the cordoned-off Glenmore Park home on Thursday.
A second crime scene has been set up in Werrington, where the younger man was arrested without incident.

Chilling clue found on Sydney man’s car after he was gunned down in his own driveway

He was taken to Nepean Hospital to be treated for minor injuries to his feet and hands, where he remains under police guard.
‘We’re very early in the investigation, so what I would say is that during the course of the arrest, the 36-year-old man was cooperative with police, and certainly his car and the scene around his car is currently being examined,’ Supt King said.
‘We believe the injuries may be the result of the interaction between the two parties.’
No charges have yet been laid.
