Love Island fans have predicted which couple will be dumped ahead of Monday’s (23 February) grand final, with one All Stars pairing set to fall agonisingly short of a place in the showpiece event after a “wild” twist was unveiled.

The pair with the fewest votes were Jessy and Tommy, and they were immediately dumped from the Island. During their exit interview, host Maya Jama asked Jessy to explain the reasons behind her feud with Lucinda, with Jessy saying: “I think she’s a very fake person.”

The biggest twist of the episode came the following day when the Islanders received a text saying that all of the dumped contestants were on their way back to the Villa, and they would have a major bearing on the future of the season.

The text read: “The ex-Islanders have individually decided which couple they think is the least compatible. The couple with the most votes will be dumped from the Island immediately.”

Ex-Islanders Shaq, AJ, Curtis, Kyra, Jess, Charlie, Jack, Helena, Carrington, Sher, Tommy, Jessy and Imani entered the garden, with Lucinda telling partner Sean that she believed they were “coming for us” before a cliffhanger.

Reacting to the moment on Instagram, fans shared their predictions about which couple would be sent home, with some thinking that Lucinda and Sean were the most likely candidates.

“Lucinda and Sean out pls I’m fed up of them now they’ve been on my screen long enough,” wrote one fan, with another echoing this sentiment as they wrote: “Nah Lucinda might go home you know.”

Others felt that Belle and Harrison could be the unlucky couple, with one fan writing: “If Belle and Harrison aren’t dumped then we know it’s a sham.”

“If it’s not Belle and Harrison they lyin’,” penned another, while one person wrote: “They’re never gonna send Belle and Harrison .. I fear it’s gonna be Lucinda and Sean.”

Meanwhile, some viewers reacted to the shocking moment itself, with one person saying: “This is WILD!”
