Amanda and Clive Owen have said they’ve had some “low lows” after becoming lost on the moors.

The stars of Our Yorkshire Farm and Our Farm Next Door lost their way due to “the mist” and Amanda confessed that the situation was “bad”, reports the Mirror.

Despite splitting in 2022, the couple continue to work together and co-parent their nine children.

They recounted their experience in an Instagram video, captioned: “High highs and low lows. But we’re here to tell the tale.” Reflecting on their week, Amanda commented: “It’s been a funny old week, hasn’t it?” Clive agreed that “it has indeed” before Amanda went on: “We’ve had some high points and low points. I think, rollercoaster.”

“We’ve had some good stuff, we’ve done some very positive good stuff. But we’ve had a few weird moments, haven’t we?” added Amanda, who is also known as the Yorkshire Shepherdess.

Clive revealed: “The worst moment has been getting lost. On the moor. In the mist.”

“With you!” Amanda quipped. “With you,” Clive echoed with a chuckle.

He went on: “I mean, thank God we found our way. We could have been there yet. Can you imagine?”

“It was bad, wasn’t it?” Amanda agreed. “There was a point where I was like, ‘How have I managed to get lost on the moor, in the mist, with him?’”

Alongside the video, Amanda encouraged fans to watch Our Farm Next Door, urging: “Join us tonight… because it’s authentic, relatable, joyful, hopeful TV with a dash of jeopardy, frequent doses of comedic value and unabashed, genuinely real people and stories.”

Amanda and Clive have become firm favourites with viewers since Our Yorkshire Farm.

The series launched in 2018, chronicling the lives of the pair and their nine children – Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clementine and Nancy – as they navigated daily life at Ravenseat farm in the isolated Upper Swaledale area of the Yorkshire Dales.

Following its conclusion, Channel 4 greenlit a new series titled Our Farm Next Door, which documents the family’s efforts to renovate a dilapidated structure close to their farm.
