Scott first rose to fame on the tenth series of Love Island UK and just weeks after being dumped, he was snapped up to appear on Love Island USA.

He then went on to appear in US-based spin-off, Love Island Games, before eventually returning to UK edition, All Stars, this year.

Now, the star has revealed exactly what the biggest differences between the US and UK reality dating shows.

Speaking alongside villa partner Leanne Amaning on Not My Bagg, Scott revealed he received huge fees to take part in the US shows which resulted in a pressure to ‘perform’.

He said on the podcast: “With the American shows, you go over there and there are big fees involved.

“You feel like you are playing a role.

“There is so much TV behind it and stuff like that.

“You do genuinely feel like you are playing a role.”

He then added: “This time, especially in the first two weeks – I didn’t know anything other than to say my opinion.

“Getting involved with everything at every stage.

“You get into this American mindset for it.

“But that is what I said, I wanted to find something genuine.”

Scott went on to further say: “It affected me – I had to find the genuine side of me.

“It is not normal to do five shows but when there is big money involved, anyone is going to do it.

“The American shows have f***ed my head up a little bit about how I see these shows.”

Scott managed to reach the final on All Stars alongside villa partner, Leanne.

The pair had a rocky journey but remained together for most of their time in South Africa.
