After rising country artist John Foster’s Aug. 2 show at The Texas Club in Baton Rouge sold out in less than an hour, the venue has added a second show.
Tickets for that show, which will take place on Aug. 1, went on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. General admission is $40.75, while a VIP experience costs $137.40.
American Idol finalist John Foster performs ‘Don’t Rock the Jukebox’ on May 14 at Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park in Plaquemine.
The Texas Club’s capacity is 1,350 people, according to club spokeswoman Faith Sherman.
Foster, 18, an Addis native and “American Idol” runner-up, appeared at CMA Fest and made his Grand Ole Opry debut in Nashville last week.
Opening acts for both Foster’s Aug. 1 and Aug. 2 shows will be Lauren Lee Band and Connor Martin. The Aug. 1 concert will also feature a special encore performance by Chase Tyler and Foster. The pair shared the stage at the Cajun Country Jam Memorial Day Festival in Denham Springs in May.
