Beef is returning for season two with Netflix releasing an explosive official trailer.
Beef season two is nearly upon us and a “incredible” concluding trailer has dropped ahead of its forthcoming debut.
After Netflix viewers were captivated by Ali Wong and Steven Yeun’s volatile portrayals in series one three years ago, subscribers have been craving additional chaos.
Now their wish has come true but this time round, Wong and Yeun are absent with the second series of Beef instead concentrating on two couples from a country club.
After a Gen Z couple witnesses a disturbing altercation between their millennial boss and his wife, they both frantically compete to gain the favour of the exclusive club’s billionaire owner who has her own controversy to handle.
And judging by its freshly unveiled trailer, the strain, fury and competition will be substantially intensified from the first series.

In a hushed moment, Carey Mulligan’s character Lindsay is questioned “Are you and Josh happily married?”
To which she sorrowfully responds: “I think deep down we both knew it was a temporary band aid…for the immense pain of knowing that you’ve picked the wrong person.”
There are sequences of Lindsay and Josh (Oscar Isaac) arguing as Gen Z couple Ashley (Cailee Spaeny) and Austin (Charles Melton) seem to be smitten, kissing and sharing food.
But when a vicious dispute erupts between Josh and Lindsay with him appearing as though he’s about to strike her with a golf club, quiet swiftly ensues as they discover Ashley and Austin are observing them before fleeing.
Following a series of gripping moments filled with conflict, screaming and chaos, Ashley is heard asking: “Don’t people say you shouldn’t be looking for the right person but actually the right wrong person?”

It didn’t take long for fans to voice their opinions on the forthcoming second series of Beef after the trailer dropped.
“This cast is proof of a prime cut”, one viewer posted on YouTube, while another wrote: “The first season was FIRE, even though it’s an anthology series, I hope this second season is of the same quality.”
An X user simply declared: “I am so excited”, as another concurred: “This looks excellent and this cast??? I am so excited.”
“I didn’t think Beef season two was really necessary, but with a cast that includes Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac, Charles Melton, Cailee Spaeny, Youn Yuh-jung, and Song Kang-ho?
“Yeah, it’s getting really hard to ignore. I wasn’t expecting to be this excited, but now I’m definitely intrigued”, one enthusiastic viewer remarked.
Meanwhile, another viewer described the trailer as “incredible”, while a fellow fan enthusiastically added: “Let the Beef begin”.
Beef season two will premiere on Thursday, April 16, on Netflix.
