Meghan Markle faced harsh criticism online from Royal fans after her brand posted a birthday message for her special day.

The Duchess of Sussex remained quiet on her official Instagram account on Monday, August 4, the day she turned 44; however, her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, shared a tribute to its founder.
American Riviera Orchard posted a fresh black-and-white photo of the Duchess donning a dark dress and a light fedora, writing in the caption: “Celebrating the woman behind it all. She pours her heart, vision, and magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder @meghan.”
Nevertheless, some fans didn’t react positively to the post, slamming Meghan for congratulating herself on her birthday.

This occurred while the Royal Family remained silent about Meghan’s milestone day, as the Duchess only received a few birthday wishes online from celebrities and friends.
One user posted on X: “Just as predicted [laughing face emoji] saying Happy Birthday to herself-because y’all know there’s no real ‘team’ or ‘we’ at #AmericanRivieraOrchard. This is 100% Markle talking about Markle. So corny.”
A second person commented: “The woman behind all the flops? [laughing face emoji] this is so cringe. It’s like giving yourself a high five lol.”
Another individual remarked: “We can be sure that she wrote this because the first thing she does is praise herself and tell us what she wants us to believe she does and is, and she also refers to herself as founder because she wants to remind us that she’s the founder of an empire.”

One user humorously suggested: “Because of her, I think laws should be implemented against self-complimenting, and also there should be laws against complaining from castles and mansions [laughing face emoji].”
Another user remarked: “This is a true narcissist sending a Happy Birthday message to herself. She doesn’t need friends or relatives, she gives herself all the self-love anyone could ever need. She wakes up every morning and kisses her reflection in the Mirror, Mirror, on the wall.”
Yet another user expressed: “This is [100%] Markle talking about Markle. no question. And the idea of letting your ‘staff’ post something like that about yourself is insane anyway! NO ONE DOES THAT! And the cringey b&w ‘artsy’ muted background picture with her holding flowers.”
However, some users appreciated As Ever’s tribute and praised the Duchess, along with wishing her a very happy birthday.
One Instagram user wished: “Happy birthday Queen!”.
Another user chimed in: “Our Princess [crown and heart emojis]”.
A third user commented: “Happy birthday, dear Meghan. You have a beautiful family. You and Prince Harry loved your family.”
While another person exclaimed: “BEAUTIFUL [heart emojis].”
