Carrie Underwood is sharing an update with fans on the newest addition to her family.

Not long ago, the American Idol judge welcomed a baby lamb to her crew of farm animals, naming the four-legged friend Jamal in honor of Jamal Roberts, the winner of Season 23 of the singing competition.

On Sunday, June 29, the country songstress took to Instagram Stories to share how big the adorable animal—nicknamed Baby J—has already gotten with a new photo.

“Weekend vibes…” she wrote over a snapshot of the animal catching some shade while standing beneath a tree. “Baby J!”

In the latest snap, the little one is already much bigger than he was when he was first born, and he appears to be thriving and growing well. The “Before He Cheats” singer also provided fans with a glimpse at the lamb earlier this month when he was about two weeks old. In addition to Jamal, she welcomed another baby sheep named Cruz around the same time.

“Surprise! We’ve got another new life around the farm!” Underwood declared when first introducing Baby J’s birth in May. “This little guy happened to be born on the day of the @americanidol finale, so we figured it would only be right if we named him Jamal!!! ☺️ Mama and Baby J are doing well…and I’m popping by the barn to get snuggles every chance I get! Welcome to the world, little dude!”

Underwood’s latest update was followed by other weekend happenings from around her 400 acres of Tennessee land, including a plentiful fruit and vegetable harvest, bees swarming her orchard, eggs some of her chickens laid, and a picturesque, serene waterscape.
