Meghan Markle brought back a touch of royal nostalgia stepping out in the same Dior heels she first wore for Prince Archie’s christening.

When it comes to effortless sophistication, Meghan Markle rarely misses the mark, and her recent appearance at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit has royal watchers buzzing over one subtle detail. On Tuesday, the Duchess of Sussex took the stage in Washington D.C. wearing an elegant cream ensemble that captured her signature minimalist aesthetic

The 44-year-old former Suits star paired a fluid Gabriela Hearst silk blouse with a Brochu Walker Esme midi skirt, creating a soft yet structured silhouette.

But it wasn’t her outfit that caught fans’ attention – it was her timeless Dior custom heels.

Meghan completed her look with a pair of bespoke Dior heels, the very same shoes she wore for Prince Archie’s christening at Windsor Castle back in July 2019.

The nude, strappy design featured a delicate ankle wrap and pointed toe. For royal fashion followers, it was a poignant reminder of one of her most memorable family moments.

The Duchess has long had a close relationship with Dior, a brand synonymous with timeless sophistication and her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana. She first wore the French label in July 2018 at the Royal Air Force centenary celebrations, donning a navy dress and bespoke Stephen Jones hat.

Since then, Dior has become something of a sartorial constant for Meghan – from her white ensemble at Archie’s christening to the black coat dress and wide-brimmed hat she wore to Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022.

Meghan’s decision to rewear the same Dior heels six years later feels intentional, symbolising a graceful continuity between her royal past and her present life in California.

At the Fortune Summit, her cream-and-nude ensemble struck the perfect balance between elegance and authority, proving that for Meghan, fashion is less about spectacle and more about storytelling.
