t seems Prince Harry made a secret visit to a close friend of Meghan while he was in the UK a couple of weeks ago – Misan Harriman.
While the Duke of Sussex didn’t acknowledge the visit himself through his representatives, or PR opportunities, the covert trip pleased Misan so much he praised the royal on social media.
Harry paid a visit to Misan Harriman’s exhibition, and the prince’s trip slipped under the radar.

Prince Harry visits Misan Harriman’s exhibition
The British photographer is no stranger to the Sussexes. He was the man behind the camera for their pregnancy announcement when Meghan was expecting Lilibet in 2021.
Misan Harriman was on FaceTime with the couple, in their back garden, when Meghan was pregnant, and shared the snap afterwards.
He also took Princess Lilibet‘s first birthday portrait a year later.
So it’s no surprise Harry wanted to pay respects to the photographer’s work when he popped back to the UK. The duke took time out of his busy schedule to visit the exhibition, called ‘The Purpose of Light’, based at Hope 93 in London.
Misan Harriman shared photos of Prince Harry and himself talking at the event on in his Instagram today, (Thursday, September 25). It’s believed they were taken on September 9, the same day he visited Nottingham.
The caption read: “Thank you for visiting my exhibition, Prince Harry. It was wonderful to show you my work and discuss the incredible space Aki has created for artists in the gallery. Art is important, especially now.”

They go way back
The Brit says he was part of the reason she even met her future husband.
He told Vogue in 2022: “Meg reminded me that had I not introduced her to a mutual friend then she wouldn’t have met Harry. I’m grateful for whatever small part I played.”
Misan also appeared in Harry and Meghan’s Netflix docuseries, which released in December 2022, where the prince and duchess spoke about the issues they faced while working for the royal family. The series received a lot of backlash as the couple were accused of airing the royal family’s dirty laundry once again.
He rubbed shoulders with the duke at the Invictus Games the same year.
Meghan also introduced her close friend before his TED talk a couple of years ago. Then in 2023, while moderating a panel for Harriman’s short film, The After, she referenced how little Prince Archie has bonded with the family pal.
She explained: “The insiuraption runs deep. Misan was showing him how to do photography the last time he was with us.
“I bought Archie a camera, and he said, ‘But it’s not a Leica like Misan’. I said, ‘You are not getting a Leica! Not even for Christmas.’”
Despite the couple moving overseas, they appear to have remained close.

Photographer slams claims famous pregnancy photo was fake
Misan Harriman hit back over reports the iconic pregnancy photo of Meghan was fake in 2024. He was accused of doctoring the images to add in trees after Kate Middleton’s Photoshop scandal took hold.
To stop rumours in their tracks, he shared the original image from his iPad to prove trolls wrong.
One part of the picture that drew attention was the tree in the background, as some questioned if he added in a willow tree while editing the photo.
But he wrote on Instagram at the time: “No trees or meadows were moved or swapped, this is the image straight out of camera. Also that is a Jacaranda Tree, not a willow tree.”
He appeared fond of the moment he caught through his lens, as he called Meghan and Harry soulmates.
Speaking of capturing the iconic picture of Prince Harry and Meghan, Misan Harriman told Vogue: “With the tree of life behind them and the garden representing fertility, life and moving forward, they didn’t need any direction, because they are, and always have been, waltzing through life together as absolute soulmates.”
