The pair have been friends since college
ourtney Adamo has spoken out following a recent interview with Meghan Markle that sparked some backlash.
Last week, the pair, who went to college together, joined forces for author and businesswoman Courtney’s book launch, taking part in a livestreamed conversation together.
Courtney is the co-founder of popular UK parenting blog, Babyccino Kids. The event at Godmothers bookstore promoted her new family-focused interior design book, The Family Home: Inspiring Ideas for a Home Filled with Joy.
However, both women found themselves accused of interrupting one another as clips of the event were shared on social media. Some people thought Meghan was being “rude” for cutting in.

Now, Courtney has broken her silence, issuing a statement on the book event on social media. Sharing some photos from the occasion on Instagram, she told her followers: “This was such an exciting career highlight for me to sit up on stage in the beautiful Godmothers Bookstore, in front of the most engaged and smiling audience, to share about our new book and to answer questions about how we can create a home for our family that is filled with joy and intention.”
I hardly slept last night.
“Thank you to @godmothersbooks for hosting,” she continued, before turning her attention to the Duchess of Sussex, adding: “And to my long-time friend @meghan for joining and supporting me.”
She finished up sweetly: “I hardly slept last night from all the excitement!”
Many of Courtney’s followers were left inspired by the pair’s long-lasting friendship, leaving supportive messages in the comment section.
“Congratulations Courtney! Great to see friends supporting friends! Meghan sure does have the best people in her circle,” one person commented.
