Sarah Ferguson has been ostracised by many friends after her royal exile, with sources saying those who remain concerned about her fragile state

With removal lorries seen arriving and departing from Royal Lodge and their future residential plans remaining unclear, the turmoil continues for the former pair. Grappling with her substantially diminished circumstances, Sarah has purportedly confided in associates that the removal of her titles and Royal residence was “not good for my mental health”, stating: “They are out for blood in every way.”

A source described as close to the former Duchess has now revealed: “She’s on a knife edge and bursting out crying several times a day. She’s really not sure what the future holds.”

Both she and Andrew have become outcasts – however the most distressing aspect of the controversy is unfolding much nearer to home. Recent accounts indicate that their younger daughter Princess Eugenie has entirely severed contact with her father.

Eugenie, 35, founded The Anti-Slavery Collective to combat sex trafficking and is reportedly incensed by her father’s failure to apologise to Epstein’s victims. Andrew refutes all allegations made against him.

The former prince is understood to be ‘devastated’ by the collapse of their relationship. Princess Beatrice is also said to be grappling with her relationship with both parents, reports the Daily Mail.

The 37 year old is reportedly attempting to juggle staying in touch with Andrew and Sarah, whilst preserving her ties with the wider Royal Family.

Both princesses opted to celebrate Christmas at Sandringham with the King instead of with their parents. Whilst Eugenie is reportedly estranged from her father, Beatrice was this week photographed alongside Andrew in what appeared to be a gesture of solidarity.

Beatrice and her four year old daughter Sienna accompanied Andrew on a horse ride around the Windsor Estate, with the group spotted at the Royal Mews before venturing into Home Park on Saturday. Images captured a sombre-looking Andrew riding in front, whilst Beatrice strolled beside Sienna and a groom.

Despite the reunion, the continuing controversy has evidently affected Beatrice. She has reportedly withdrawn an offer for Sarah to reside in the “granny flat” at her Cotswolds residence.

“Beatrice knows for the sake of her kids her future lies with the royals and it’s why she backed out of renting her mum their granny flat,” an insider revealed to the Mail. “She has to put her own reputation first and give their kids a respectable chance at life.”

This comes amid reports that Andrew has inspected his new residence for the first time. The former Prince is due to relocate to Marsh Farm on the Sandringham estate, and over the weekend, he reportedly viewed the property to assess renovation progress.

Recent activity at the property has seen contractors installing enhanced security features, including a 6ft perimeter fence, whilst Sky engineers have been observed setting up broadband connections to the residence.

Compounding Andrew’s difficulties, the property sits within a flood plain, with local residents encouraged to register for flood warnings should existing defences prove insufficient against potential flooding from an adjacent wetland area. There’s also the matter of household staff.

Reports suggest the King has made available a Sandringham cleaner, gardener and chef on a part-time basis – an arrangement that has “hasn’t gone down well”.

Andrew had allegedly expressed a preference for Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate instead, a five-bedroom dwelling situated close to the stables and pheasant shooting areas, however concerns emerged that this location would position him ‘too close’ to other family members.
