Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been pictured for the first time since the King formally stripped him of his remaining royal titles. The former prince, 65, was snapped horse riding on the Windsor Estate on Monday morning, as he’s yet to move off the Berkshire estate.
Wrapped up in a green parker jacket and wearing a helmet and gloves, Andrew was pictured chatting away to a female riding companion. It marks the first time the disgraced royal has been seen in public in almost two months, as he’s kept a low profile since being formally stripped of his royal titles and forced to move out of his home, the lavish mansion Royal Lodge.
But Andrew is yet to relocate to the Sandringham Estate, as it is understood the process of him surrending the lease for the property is not dissimilar to the lengthy process of buying a house.

Sources insist the move will take place as soon as it is possible, though it’s not expected to happen before the end of the year. Buckingham Palace has not revealed which house he will move to, but Andrew’s housing arrangements will be privately funded by the King.
At the end of last month, Buckingham Palace announced that the King has started the formal process to strop his younger brother of his royal style, titles, and honours. He is now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Buckingham Palace said in a statement: “These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him. Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.”
It was a major development and comes after weeks of negative headlines and scandals embroiling Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.
A royal source said: “These decisions have been the King’s, given the serious lapses of judgment which his brother has shown.”
