The new addition will take his seat on the Fox & Friends couch from September 20, Fox News confirmed.
The nostalgic video shows Earhardt in 2008, long before she became a household name on the morning show.
Earhardt, who joined Fox News in 2007, has been co-hosting Fox & Friends since 2016.
The clip drew a flood of comments from viewers.
At the same time, Fox & Friends revealed that Griff Jenkins will officially become the third weekend co-host.
Jenkins has been with Fox News since 2003, reporting on everything from the southern border to wars in the Middle East.
Jenkins will now join Rachel Campos-Duffy and Charlie Hurt every Saturday and Sunday from 6 to 10 am ET.
Fox & Friends Weekend remains the top-rated program in its time slot, averaging 1.2 million viewers.
n the Instagram post, Fox & Friends highlighted Jenkins’ first fill-in hosting appearance from 2008.
“
Viewers rushed to the comments with excitement.
“Obsessed! Well deserved my friend!” one fan wrote.
“This is the best clip & best new co-host!!! So excited for you dad!” another said.
“So happy for you @griffjenkins,” added a third.
Others praised the choice as a way to bring fresh energy to the show.
“Congrats!!! F&F needs to be fun again!” one user posted.
Another fan recalled meeting Jenkins years ago: “I met Griff on the streets of DC during the 4th of July, approx 14 years ago, and he was working for Greta. Great guy and good choice!”
Jenkins himself reacted on social media, thanking a colleague: “Thank you – such incredible kind words! I am humbled and grateful my friend! And GO DAWGS!!”
The new co-host’s debut is part of a broader shake-up at Fox News for weekends.
FOX News Media President and Executive Editor Jay Wallace confirmed the revamped schedule earlier this month.
Kayleigh McEnany, who co-hosts Outnumbered, will front her own show, Saturday in America, airing 10 am to noon ET.
On Sundays, Peter Doocy and Jacqui Heinrich will rotate as solo hosts of The Sunday Briefing from 11 am to noon.
Meanwhile, MediaBuzz host Howie Kurtz will step down and move into a political media analyst role.
