As someone who keeps a close eye on Netflix releases for my job, these are the new ones I’m most excited for
February is shaping up to be Netflix’s most thrilling month for new content yet.
That’s quite a statement given the sheer volume of fresh releases that typically arrive on the platform almost daily. As a professional television writer and critic, there are several February offerings I’m particularly keen on.
I can already sense I’ll be racing through these series at breakneck speed – potentially within a single day. Three titles especially meet this standard and deserve every subscriber’s attention. What’s more, each show is scheduled to drop at least a week apart.
Therefore, even if you lack the stamina or availability to binge-watch them in one sitting, you should have sufficient opportunities to work through them before the next arrives. It becomes even more manageable when you consider this month also brings back The Lincoln Lawyer, The Night Agent and Bridgerton season 4, part 2, reports the Mirror.
Then there are beloved classics arriving such as ER and Stargate SG1… I wasn’t exaggerating about it being a remarkable month! However, here’s what deserves priority on your viewing list, as it certainly features on mine as a television writer.

Devotees of Netflix’s Money Heist are quietly anticipating whether this French-produced eight-episode series will match the former’s excellence. This heist drama arrives early in the month and looks set to deliver excitement aplenty.
The synopsis reveals that five women band together to escape a difficult predicament by disguising themselves as men to rob a bank. Following an adrenaline-fuelled heist netting 36,280 euros, the novice criminals must begin afresh.
Before long, politicians, police officers, and criminals are in hot pursuit, barely suspecting that an ordinary group of women are the masterminds behind this gang of mercenaries… Thus, The Cash Queens are born.
Cash Queens is available to stream on Netflix from February 5.

How to get to Heaven from Belfast.
Discovering this is the newest series from the writer and creator of Derry Girls ought to guarantee an immediate place on any viewing list. The cast also features some recognisable faces from the cherished comedy, including Ardal O’Hanlon and Art Campion.
Nevertheless, it pledges to deliver something rather different. The eight-episode series centres on intelligent, chaotic television writer Saoirse, glamorous yet stressed mother-of-three Robyn, and reliable, reserved carer Dara.
This trio have been inseparable since their school days. Now approaching 40, yet still incredibly close, these three friends are poised to begin the most exciting journey of their lives.
When an email lands in their inbox announcing the death of their estranged fourth childhood friend, a sequence of unsettling incidents at her wake propels them on a sinister, perilous yet comedic journey across Ireland and further afield. Each attempts to unravel the reality of what truly happened years ago.
It’s a tale exploring friendship, recollection and the disappointment when life takes unexpected turns.
How to get to Heaven from Belfast launches on Netflix from February 12.

This month sees a new animated series release (Image: Netflix)
Strip Law.
Rounding off the month is Netflix’s newest animated series. The streaming giant has kept relatively quiet about this forthcoming release thus far, but it’s likely to attract enthusiasts of Long Story Short, Haunted Hotel and Bojack Horseman.
Strait-laced solicitor Lincoln Gumb is far too dull to secure victories in Vegas courtrooms until he joins forces with local illusionist and pleasure-seeker Sheila Flambé, injecting spectacle and flair into the most ridiculous cases the city has to offer.
The vocal ensemble features Severance star Adam Scott alongside Keith David and Stephen Root. Based on the trailer, it’s perfect viewing for legal drama devotees who appreciate a touch of the surreal thrown into the mix.
Strip Law is streaming on Netflix from February 20.
