Meghan Markle has faced accusations of being “vicious” following news of a newly signed multi-year Netflix agreement.

The criticism emerged after reports surfaced that the Duchess of Sussex plans to release a Christmas special of her lifestyle program With Love, Meghan, which could potentially compete with sister-in-law Princess Kate’s yearly Together at Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey in December.

Harry is on the verge of reconciling with his father, King Charles, and this may throw a wrench into his plans. The Duke is scheduled to meet with Charles on September 8, which was announced just last week. It will be their first meeting in 2 years.

But before the meeting was confirmed, a reputation expert delved out some advice for the Sussexes, particularly Meghan.

According to Eric Schiffer, a brand and reputation strategist, the odds of the meeting happening “swing like a volatile pendulum” and “one Meghan quote could snap the cord and paralyze the process.”

Schiffer puts emphasis on Meghan and that may be because she recently launched her lifestyle brand, which sees her active on social media and appearing on TV.
