Katya Jones’ recent actions have left fans speculating about her friendship with Adam Peaty.

Katya Jones, 36, and Adam Peaty, 31, both wowed audiences with their fiery routines on Strictly in 2021. However, off-screen, the story appears different, as the professional dancer no longer follows Peaty on social media. Peaty married his girlfriend Holly Ramsay in December. Instead of celebrating with his former dance partner Katya, she was absent, sparking rumours of a conflict between them.

Despite their early exit from the competition, the pair were beloved by fans after their Argentine Tango, Cha Cha Cha, and Quickstep. They also seemed to maintain a friendly relationship off-camera, sharing photos together. Yet, recently, social media followers have started to speculate about what might be happening behind the scenes.

Peaty married Holly, 25, the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, in a star-studded ceremony at Bath Abbey that was attended by several familiar faces, including former Strictly stars Dan Walker and Sara Davies.

Bride Holly was walked down the aisle by her father, Gordon Ramsay, who shared a heartfelt message ahead of the ceremony. I’m truly so lucky to be able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle and gain an incredible son-in-law, Adam Peaty!” he wrote on Instagram.

“I love you so much Holly Ramsay and couldn’t be a prouder Dad xxx,” he added. All of Holly’s family were in attendance, including her mother Tana and siblings Matilda, 24, Megan, 27, Jack, 25, as well as her younger brothers Oscar, six, and Jesse, who is one.

However, despite Gordon’s paternal joy, it seemed that Peaty’s family were far less impressed as his mother, Caroline, confirmed that she had been uninvited from the ceremony and stated that she would not attempt to attend.

“My going would just cause even more of a storm, and I don’t want to ruin his wedding day. I wanted to be there quietly to watch him get married, but that can’t happen now,” she told the Daily Mail.

Peaty was also seen arriving at the Church with his four-year-old son, George, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend, Eirianedd Munro.
