Prime Video has revealed the voice cast for its upcoming adult animated series Kevin, created by Aubrey Plaza (The White Lotus) and Joe Wengert (Big Mouth). Plaza not only co-wrote and executive produces the series but will also lend her voice alongside an eclectic cast that includes Whoopi Goldberg (The Lion King), Jason Schwartzman (Isle of Dogs), John Waters (Hairspray), Aparna Nancherla (The Great North), Gil Ozeri (Big Mouth), and Amy Sedaris (BoJack Horseman).

'Kevin'

Loosely inspired by a real-life breakup and the cat caught in the middle, Kevin follows a neurotic tuxedo cat who sets out to discover himself after his human owners’ unexpected split. When Kevin (voiced by Schwartzman) leaves behind his cozy Queens apartment, he ends up at Furrever Friends, a pet rescue where he meets a colorful community of animals who help him figure out what he truly wants out of life.

Plaza voices Dana, a confident career-driven woman blindsided by Kevin’s decision to leave home. Goldberg brings her signature energy to Cupcake — a wildly unpredictable, hairless cat who’s as cunning as she is feral. Waters voices Armando, a sarcastic Persian cat with no patience for humans, while Nancherla, Ozeri, and Sedaris round out the ensemble as the quirky residents and caretakers of the rescue.

The series is produced by Titmouse, Evil Hag Productions, and Amazon MGM Studios, with Plaza and Wengert serving as executive producers alongside Dan Murphy, Chris Prynoski, Ben Kalina, Shannon Prynoski, and Antonio Canobbio.
