Jennifer Aniston and Jim CurtisJennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis’s relationship has allegedly come across its first major hiccup. Sources have suggested that they are at a crossroads because of their potential long-term living situation (via Mandatory). According to these sources, the FRIENDS actress prefers Southern California over New York City if she “wants to ever live permanently” with Curtis.

Right now, their work commitments have tied them to these two different states. Aniston is settled in California, from where she pursues most of her acting jobs. Meanwhile, Curtis works as a hypnotherapist in New York City. A source told Star Magazine about the subtle tension between them, sharing, “It’s a tough situation.” A source revealed:

New York City is not a place she wants to ever live permanently. It’s a nice place for Jen to visit, but she prefers the SoCal climate. That makes life tricky for Jim, who needs to be in New York a lot.

The source shared that Aniston was making slight adjustments regarding their living situation for the time being. They asserted that the relationship would work in the long-term only if Curtis made some adjustments. The source shared, “If he wants to keep things going with Jen, he needs to scale up his work in Los Angeles as much as possible! Jim needs to adjust his life to make things work.”

While she became famous playing New Yorker Rachel Green, Jennifer Aniston does not have much love for the place. She was critical of her living situation in New York. During her interview appearance on the Australian radio show, The Kyle and Jackie O Show, she talked about her and then-husband Justin Theroux’s living situation (via PEOPLE).

She shared her disdain for New York, sharing, “We tried New York, but it felt like I was [living] in a fishbowl.” She added that things were a little difficult with paparazzi when she was living in NY. She added, “It didn’t feel like the New York I grew up in and knew.”

At this point, she had already moved to Los Angeles with Theroux and considered it her home. As a result of the move, she shared that her happiness level at that point was “10-plus.”

Jennifer Aniston hard-launched her relationship with her wellness expert boyfriend, Jim Curtis, on Instagram. She gave a birthday shoutout to Curtis, writing, “Happy birthday my love.” She and Curtis have been spotted together multiple times in the past six months, sparking romance rumors.

Aniston allegedly has big plans for her wedding with her new boyfriend, Jim Curtis. RadarOnline reported that she is considering Greece as an option for her third marriage. A source claimed that she was ready to have her dream wedding, which could top the one she had with Brad Pitt. The source shared:

Jen used to say she already had her dream wedding when she and Brad Pitt married in Malibu 25 years ago. When she married Justin Theroux, she deliberately did not attempt to top that, opting instead for a relatively small backyard affair. But Jim has become a ray of sunshine in Jen’s life and with him comes the chance to finally do it right.

Sources claimed that she narrowed down the wedding location to Greece because of Curtis’s Greek background, and her father, John Aniston, was born on the island of Crete.

Sources also shared that her close circle was allegedly blindsided when she started talking about her wedding plans. She was reportedly opposed to the idea of marriage before meeting Curtis. An insider shared:

She wants a wedding where they’re surrounded by ancient ruins and beautiful natural landscapes. It’s like something out of a romance novel, but that’s where Jen’s head is at as this relationship intensifies. She can’t help herself.

A source also shared that she wanted a destination wedding so that she could keep a handle on the guest list. Radar’s source guessed that the “tight” list would include the likes of Courteney Cox, Jimmy Kimmel, Jason Bateman, and Amanda Anka.
