ATMORE, Ala. (WALA) – The City of Atmore and Main Street Atmore have announced that reigning “American Idol” winner Jamal Roberts will perform live during the Bee More Summer Festival on Saturday, June 14.
The concert is free of charge and will take place at Boxcar Willie, at 207 West Ridgeley St. in Atmore.
Roberts’ performance will cap a day filled with live music, local food vendors, artisan crafts and family-friendly activities.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jamal Roberts to our city,” said Atmore’s interim mayor, Shawn Lassiter. “This is a fantastic opportunity for our community and folks visiting Atmore to come together and enjoy world-class entertainment right here at Boxcar Willie. His performance will undoubtedly be a highlight of the day.”
Activities at Boxcar Willie will begin at noon, featuring music, line dancing, a foam machine, a mechanical bull, face painting, Caricatures by Kathy, food trucks and more. Roberts is scheduled to perform at 4 p.m.
