Love Island star Curtis Pritchard has broken his silence on his romance with Millie Court, which came to an end following his dumping from the third season of spin-off series All Stars.

Curtis arrived in the Villa as a bombshell, marking his fourth appearance in the franchise. He soon entered into a couple with Millie, though he was dumped from the island earlier this week alongside Imani Ayan Wheeler, Konnor Ewudzi and Kyra Lizama.

By that point, Millie had already found a new connection with American bombshell Zac Woodworth, and Curtis has admitted that this development along with his exit has been tough to take.

“I literally went in there with no walls up, no nothing and just to open myself up and go with the flow,” he told The Morning Afterpodcast. “Mills, I won’t lie, she caught me off-guard.

“Do you know when you like someone? I was sort of scared of pushing her away because I thought ‘I’m gonna be myself 100%’. I ended up being myself 100% and I ended up pushing her away a little bit.love island all stars millie and curtis

“So in one way I was a little bit like, ‘Crap, I’ve done what I said I didn’t want to do’. [But] in another way, I feel so comfortable in myself that I’m happy to show my emotions. If I’m feeling upset, I’ll happily cry, it is what it is.”

While Curtis has now left the Villa, the series got some new – sort of – faces as Harrison Solomon and Jessy Potts arrived as the latest bombshells, with the pair quick to make their moves in finding a connection.

“It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity that I’m getting to do twice,” said Jessy, who previously appeared in the 11th season of the series. “You meet some new friends, get to flirt with guys all day. I can’t complain!”

“I’ve done a lot of growing up and self reflection,” added Harrison, who appeared in the 12th season. “I’ve looked back at the show and I was a bit embarrassed by my actions sometimes. I’m actually glad that it did happen on national television.”

Love Island: All Stars airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
