The leaked clip saw Red Panda’s performance themed around a fire station
THE Masked Singer’s axed performance has LEAKED online in full causing chaos behind-the-scenes.
The ITV show was forced to pull one of its performances just hours before airing amid sensitivity concerns following the Switzerland bar tragedy.

A fire engulfed a nightclub and left many dead and injured in a shocking New Year blaze.
As a result, bosses at ITV chose to axe a performance by Red Panda.
The Sun later told how the character would be singing the track Disco Inferno – which contains the repeated lyric “burn, baby, burn” – and therefore bosses deemed it inappropriate given the previous days’ events.
However, the performance has since leaked online in full.
The footage appeared to circulate when the original episode was released via catch-up services in Scotland.
It was later pulled and replaced with the amended broadcast but the Red Panda’s full performance – including clues to the singer’s identity – has since been widely shared online.
The Sun is choosing not to share the video of the performance by Red Panda.
The clues VT featured the Red Panda wandering around a fire station before later featuring fire engine-themed staging as they sang Disco Inferno.
Some of the clues included references to baby dummies and lumps of gold.
Red Panda was also seen with a shopping list which contained the items “hairspray, sun cream, pink apples and pears”.
The Sun has contacted ITV for comment.
It is understood that Red Panda will be featured in the series at a later date with the Disco Inferno performance unlikely to ever be aired officially.
On Saturday, hours before the first episode of series seven was due to be broadcast, ITV confirmed that the show would begin 10 minutes later than planned but offered no further explanation.
Upon airing, Red Panda was mostly edited out despite featuring in promotional material before it was quickly clarified as to why the edits had occurred.
At the time, an ITV spokesperson said: “In light of the tragic events in Switzerland, we took the decision to remove Red Panda’s performance on The Masked Singer in tonight’s programme owing to potential insensitivities within the theme and lyrics of the song.
“Viewers will get to see Red Panda perform in the coming weeks.”
TRAGIC BLAZE
Around 40 people were killed in the deadly “flashover” fire that ripped through Le Constellation bar in Switzerland on Thursday – prompting the decision by The Masked Singer bosses to tweak the show content on Saturday.
More than 200 young people celebrating the New Year were crammed into Le Constellation, a ritzy bar at the popular ski resort in Valais, when the “flashover” inferno broke out – leaving 40 dead and hundreds with third degree burns.
A probe has been launched into how the horrific blaze began in the early hours of New Year’s Day in the bar’s basement and spread so fast, the municipality attorney general said.
