Ding ding – the MAFS Reunion Dinner Party is served!
Four weeks on from Final Vows, it’s time for Stella and Filip to emerge from their love bubble, Bec and Alissa to dust themselves off, and all those other faces we forgot about to return to the scene of many arguments.
But first, Rachel’s in tears.
All her fears about her and Steven’s relationship translating into the real world have come true, and after not feeling like he was prioritising her, they mutually decided to split a week before filming.
Devo!!!
Elsewhere, Stella and Filip are great, obviously, Alissa’s expecting an apology from David, David is definitely not going to do that, and Danny’s been messaging … Steph?
“The man I am still in love with is messaging another bride,” Bec says.
Steph told her she and Danny had been chatting, and even showed Bec their messages, which included a bikini photo from Steph’s holiday to Hamilton Island.
In response to a voice note, Danny sent her TWO love heart emojis.
How bloody dare he?!
Someone’s just glad he can wear hideous brooches again post-divorce. (Nine)
Neither Steph nor Danny think this is a big deal.
Can’t two real estate agents bond over house prices and tropical holidays anymore?
Cocktail Hour
Alissa and Bec are the first to arrive so naturally, they bond over their mutual Final Vows blindsides.
Rachel soon joins the party, which so far has been pretty teary!
As Alissa catches them up on David’s walkout, he walks in.
He greets her with a “How are you? You good?” which she cannot believe is the first thing he says after “the most disrespectful thing anyone’s ever done” to her.
He’s so perceptive! (Nine)
She tells him his refusing to listen to her vows was akin to him spitting on her face, and he’s a coward who couldn’t face the music.
David really stretches the metaphor, suggesting she’d be blaring loud music at him the entire experiment and he finally turned it off.
The sweet sound of silence. (Nine)
He doesn’t want to entertain her or her music anymore, which Alissa takes as her opportunity to practically sprint back to the group.
He can’t get two walk-offs in a row, you see. That’s not fair!
David refuses to apologise to Alissa
Finally, a couple walk in together. Stella, Filip and the huge rock on her finger are here!
They’ve kept their engagement a secret, but now it’s time to announce it:
HOW GOOD IS LOVE! (Nine)
With that out of the way, Bec fills the other brides in on Steph and Danny – just in time for Steph’s grand entrance.
Bec tells her she thinks their messages were inappropriate, as Steph nods along.
Meanwhile, “I’m not entertaining this conversation, f— off basically,” Steph tells cameras.
Between this and being stuck with Tyson, has Steph had a normal conversation at all during this experiment? (Nine)
Straight off the heels of a Borat impression from Joel, which I truly have missed, Steven arrives and is drawn into an emotionally charged conversation with Rachel.
I am still rooting for them!!! (Nine)
They’re both devastated to have broken up, neither wants to have broken up, they both still have care and love for each other, Steven puts his wedding ring back on…
They’re confused I’m confused! The experts are confused!
Rachel and Steven make amends after their split
While we wait for Danny, we’re subjected to some truly terrible chat from the group, but mostly Tyson.
The term “soy boy” is used, so I’ve never been happier to see an emotionally unavailable Englishman as I am right now.
Oh thank God. (Nine)
Danny, bless his soul, thinks Bec seems happy to see him.
“All the anger’s gone and the nice side has come out,” he reckons.
It’s been 84 years, but finally, for the last time this season, it’s dinner time!
Dinner Party
Danny’s naivety is proven before he’s even sat down.
“You don’t want Steph to sit here?” Bec asks him of the seat next to his.
When you realise the anger isn’t all gone after all. (Nine)
But that will have to wait a second, as this show is actually about love and Filip is here to raise a toast to it!
Cheers, Santé, Cin cin, etc – but let’s get into it.
“What’s on the menu is definitely spice, drama, conflict, chaos, carnage, SCORCHED EARTH,” Joel’s taken the words right out of my mouth.
Tyson, self-nominated Chief Shit Stirrer, wants David to explain why he abandoned Alissa before she read out her vows.
“Look at this soldier,” David reacts, which I greatly enjoy.
For the 100th time, he and Alissa go around and around only to get nowhere.
David stands his ground against Alissa
Alissa is shaken by how much he’s found his voice, and how little that voice is willing to hear her out and air their “dirty laundry”.
“It really hurts because I was falling in love with him but I don’t know that man,” she sobs.
Soo… guess she’ll have to live without that apology. (Nine)
Thankfully, there’s love in the air as Filip shares his and Stella’s engagement story.
Everyone’s obsessed with them, but there’s not much time left in this episode and Bec looks very unhappy. We have no choice but to move on!
Filip tells the group how he proposed
Bec and Danny talk away from the group but come to absolutely no resolution, so who better to share their thoughts than Gia!?
Bec confronts Danny for messaging Steph
Months after claiming Danny said she was his type, she feels validated by him “flirting” via love heart emoji with Steph.
Rather than mention this herself, she calls on Steph’s ex Tyson, who takes great pleasure in fanning the flames.
❤️❤️ (Nine)
But Danny isn’t giving in, because he’s just a big heart emoji fan.
He sends them to his mum! And Filip! Let a guy emoji in peace!
Steph explains her side. They were just two people in real estate catching up about this truly bizarre mutual experience they’ve had. And franking credits, probably.

Steph and Danny defend their messages
Bec doesn’t buy anything, Steph is done with justifying it and Tyson is having the time of his life.
“You’re contacting my ex-husband, you’re meant to be my friend … Who do you think you are?” Bec yells.
I will miss this. (Nine)
But she’s not done!
“You’re a liar,” she tells Steph, “and you,” she turns to Danny, “off you go together, you scurvy, sea dog c—.”
Wow. Props for creativity, but everyone rightly thinks it’s way too much.

Bec unleashes over Steph and Danny messaging
Grayson, always the moral compass of the experiment, goes as far as to call Bec’s outburst “deplorable”.
“No wonder Danny ended things,” even dear Steve-o reacts.
For Danny, it’s the last straw. He’s done done, and vows not to return for the Reunion Commitment Ceremony.
“I ain’t turning up, mate, my lawyer can speak for me. No comment,” he says.
See ya! (Nine)
Tomorrow night, the season comes to an end with awkward moments, a Tyson takedown and, as is customary, a Bec apology!
For the final time in 2026, see you there.
