Sharon Osbourne, wife of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, attempted to take her own life after discovering her husband’s infidelity in 2016.
The 72-year-old TV personality was devastated upon learning about the Black Sabbath frontman’s romantic involvement with hairstylist Michelle Pugh.
The extramarital relationship allegedly spanned four years, from 2012 to 2016.
Sharon previously disclosed her tragic response to the betrayal during her Sharon Osbourne: Cut the Crap performance in London.
The mother of three admitted she couldn’t handle the crushing revelation of Ozzy’s unfaithfulness and contemplated dissolving their 34-year union.

Following her suicide attempt using multiple medications to cope with the emotional devastation, Sharon eventually pardoned Ozzy several months afterward.
Since that time, she has remained devoted to the metal icon and has continuously cared for him through numerous serious health challenges, including his nearly crippling Parkinson’s disease diagnosis in 2020.
Now, nearly a decade after his extramarital affair, Ozzy is allegedly preparing to reveal everything in his candid autobiography Last Rites, which insiders claim will address “the good, the bad, the ugly and downright despicable” periods of his existence, including the infidelity that almost shattered his marriage and home life.

The Black Sabbath icon, 76, known for his tumultuous relationship with wife Sharon, reportedly views his affair with hair stylist Pugh as a pivotal moment that jeopardized both his career and marriage.
“You are going to get the whole f——g lot,” a source close to the rock star revealed.
“Ozzy didn’t hold back. He discusses the turmoil of the past 17 years, including Sharon leaving him,” they added.
The memoir will also allegedly delve into his journey back to sobriety, his dedication to therapy, and everything he did to ultimately win back Sharon’s trust. “Had she not taken him back, things could’ve ended very differently,” the insider told Mail Online.
In his candid memoir, Ozzy will also reportedly confront his sex addiction, which he alleges was a major factor in the affair.
Celebrity colorist Pugh once characterized their relationship as life-altering, asserting: “He made me feel like the most beautiful and worshipped woman in the world.”
She also told People that after the affair eventually concluded: “It was a struggle every day.”
Last year, while talking to Loose Women’s Jane Moore, Sharon commented on the affair: “He always, always had groupies, and I was so used to that. But when he knows the person’s name, where they live, and where they work… it is a whole different thing as you are emotionally invested.”
Speaking about her overdose after discovering the devastating affair, Sharon revealed on the show: “I took, I don’t know how many pills. I just thought, ‘My kids are older, they are fine and can take care of themselves. ‘ So I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom. The maid tried to come in to clean the room and saw me.”
Sharon initially encountered Ozzy when her father served as Black Sabbath’s manager. The duo started their romance in 1979 following Ozzy’s departure from the rock group, with Sharon stepping in as his manager.
The pair exchanged vows in Maui, Hawaii, in 1982, but faced turmoil in 2016 when reports emerged of Ozzy’s four-year relationship with a hairstylist. They temporarily separated, and the Black Sabbath frontman sought treatment for sex addiction.
Sharon and Ozzy reconciled by summer’s end in 2016 and renewed their wedding vows in May 2017. They are parents to three children: daughters Aimée and Kelly, plus son Jack.
