Love Island: All Stars aired some emotional scenes tonight, as the Islanders received video calls from home. But while some were praised by their loved ones, others were given a stern talking to – much to the delight of fans.

In tonight’s episode, the Islanders discussed Friday night’s dramatic game, which saw Lucinda walking off in tears. Lucinda explained that she was hurt by Jessy’s “nasty” comments towards her, saying she’s had a “weird vendetta” since her arrival in the Villa.

“I don’t know why she’s beefing you when she hasn’t seen you since 2024,” Helena agreed.

Later, as the boys headed out to play football, the girls were given access to all the “gossip” from their friends and family. But when Jessy asked her dad how she was coming across on screen, she didn’t receive the response she was expecting.

“Where did that Lucinda drama come from? That is so not you,” highlighted her dad Matthew.

“It’s not been a great look for you, I must admit,” he continued solemnly. “I hope you’ve kissed and made up and if you haven’t, you should. It was just so out of character.”

Jessy was left in tears following the reality check from her dad, though he assured her she was doing her family proud. He advised her to focus on her connection with Tommy rather than getting involved in petty arguments.

The other girls were quick to comfort Jessy as she emerged from the chat visibly upset, but fans on Twitter/X praised Matthew for his honesty.

“Jessy’s dad letting her know she was acting dumb and not enabling her behaviour now THAT’S a dad,” said one, with a second echoing: “Jessy’s dad – take a bow. Love how he’s standing on business.”

“I love how Jessy’s dad has been honest and called out her behaviour i think she needed that,” added a third.

Love Island: All Stars airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
