American Idol” runner-up John Foster is embracing his love of country music like never before.
On Saturday, June 7, the Louisiana native reaffirmed his country music roots with a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Foster took to Instagram to share a photo capturing the special moment.
The “Tell That Angel I Love Her” singer stood in the center of the iconic Hall of Fame Rotunda, a place where legendary figures in country music are honored. Above him are the symbolic words “Will the Circle Be Unbroken,” inspired by the timeless song of the same title.
“Visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame today reminded me why I connect so deeply with my genre,” he captioned the post. “Its history and connection to the people is unparalleled.”
Foster went on to make a vow about his passion for country music.
I promise that for as long as I live, the circle will be unbroken.
All Good Things for John Foster After ‘American Idol’ Journey
Foster has been unstoppable following his second-place “American Idol” finish. On May 31, he shared his first-ever music video on Instagram, singing “Amazing Grace.” He wrote:
I thought it fitting that my first Post-Idol music video be ‘Amazing Grace’,’ because it’s His Grace that’s brought me this far.
He revealed that the video was taken in one go, adding that “every lyric, including the Cajun French chorus, is a thank you to God.”
Foster also performed at the Cajun Country Jam over Memorial Day Weekend and took the stage at the 19/BMG Takeover during CMA Fest on June 4.
On June 7, Foster turned his dream into reality when he made his successful Grand Ole Opry debut, cementing his name in the country music scene.
