Meghan attended Paris Fashion Week earlier this month
rince Harry, Duke of Sussex, has reportedly been left “hurt” by the backlash his wife, Meghan Markle, received for the Paris video she shared last week.
Meghan, 44, faced some criticism after sharing a video during her visit to Paris, where it appeared that she wasn’t far from where Princess Diana’s fatal car accident happened in 1997.

Meghan Markle’s Paris video
Earlier this month, the Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance at Paris Fashion Week.
In a video uploaded to her Instagram Story, Meghan filmed herself in the back of a car, with her feet up on the seat opposite, watching the Paris sights as she was driven through the city.
However, critics of the duchess claimed that in her video, she was near the Pont de l’Alma tunnel, where Princess Diana’s car accident happened that resulted in her death in August 1997.
Harry was left hurt and upset. Diana’s death was used as a stick to beat his wife with.
Though the bridge wasn’t visible in the video, the duchess came under criticism all the same.
“I don’t understand what on earth she was thinking. Well, she can’t have been thinking. No adviser would ever advise doing something so strange,” royal expert Richard Fitzwilliam told the Daily Mail.
“She has every right to go to fashion events. But to share a video that had any connections with the tragic death of the Princess of Wales defies belief. I’m sure she didn’t mean to cause offence; she can’t have been thinking, but it’s insensitive beyond belief. It’s a complete absence of thought.”

Prince Harry ‘hurt’ by Meghan’s Paris video backlash
Now, it’s being reported that Prince Harry has been left upset by the backlash Meghan received for the video.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, an alleged pal of the couple said: “Harry was left hurt and upset. Diana’s death was used as a stick to beat his wife with. [Meghan] did not even pass close to the tunnel.”
“The whole thing is a joke, but not a very funny one for Harry,” they then added.
“He was left feeling hurt, but the depressing thing is, he wasn’t even that surprised. He was more despondent than shocked.”
US outlet People also claims a source told them that Prince Harry “will always protect his wife and family from what he sees as unkind, negative and agenda-driven media narratives”.
Harry’s representatives declined to comment when approached by Royal Insider.

Harry’s speech at World Mental Health Day Festival in New York
Over the weekend, Harry and Meghan made an appearance in New York for the World Mental Health Day Festival.
During the festival, the duke gave a speech, in which he reflected on the “painful” lessons of the past five years.
“Today is more than just about conversation. It’s about community,” Harry told the crowd, as reported by PEOPLE.
“The past five years have taught us painfully that crises rarely arrive in isolation. The global pandemic stripped away the ordinary scaffolding of life and brought a measurable surge in anxiety, depression, and loss of connection,” he continued.
During their visit to New York, the duke and duchess were awarded Humanitarians of the Year for their global mental health work and digital advocacy.
